अब लेश्याओं की अपेक्षा पदवन्द बतलाते हैं :मिथ्यात्व के ६८, सासादन के ३२, मिथ के ३२ और अविरत सम्यग्दृष्टि के ६० पदों का जोड़ ६८+३२+३२+६० = १६२ हुआ । इन्हें यहाँ संभव ६ लेश्याओं से गुणित कर देने पर ११५२ होते हैं। सो देशविरत के ५२, प्रमत्तविरत के ४४ और अप्रमत्तविरत के ४४ पदों का जोड़ १४० हुआ। इन्हें इन तीन गुणस्थानों में संभव ३ लेण्याओं से गुणित कर देने पर ४२० होते हैं तथा अपूर्वकरण में पद २० हैं, किन्तु यहाँ एक ही लेश्या है अतः इसका प्रमाण २० हुआ । इन सबका जोड़ ११५२+४२०+२०८१५६२ हुआ । इन १५६२ को भंगों की अपेक्षा २४ से गुणित कर देने पर आठ गुणस्थानों के कुल पदवृन्द ३८२०८ होते हैं । अनन्तर इनमें दो प्रकृतिक और एक प्रकृतिक पदवृन्द २६ और मिला देने पर कुल पदवृन्द ३८२३७ होते हैं । कहा भी है
तिगहीणा सेषग्ना सपा य उदयाण होति लेसाणं । अस्तीस साहस्साई पपाण सय दो संगतीसा॥
