अब यदि योगों की अपेक्षा दसों गुणस्थानों के पदवृन्द लाना चाहें तो दो बातों पर ध्यान देना होगा - १. किस गुणस्थान में पदवृन्द और योगों की संख्या कितनी है और २ उन योगों में से किस योग में कितने पदवृन्द सम्भव है। इन्हीं दो बातों को ध्यान में रखकर अब योगापेक्षा गुणस्थानों के पदवृन्द बतलाते हैं ।
यह पूर्व में स्पष्ट किया जा चुका है कि मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान में ४ उदयस्थान और उनके कुल पद ६८ हैं । इनमें से एक सात प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान, दो आठ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान और एक नौ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान अनंतानुबंधी के उदय से रहित है जिनके कुल उदयपद ३२ होते हैं और एक आठ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान दो नौ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान और एक दस प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान, ये चार उदयस्थान अनन्तानुबंधी के उदय सहित हैं जिनके कुल उदयपद ३६ होते हैं । इनमें से पहले के ३२ उदयपद, ४ मनोयोग, ४ वचनयोग, औदारिक काययोग और वैकिय काययोग, इन दस योगों के साथ पाये जाते हैं। क्योंकि यहाँ अन्य योग संभव नहीं है, अत: इन ३२ को १० से गुणित करने पर ३२० होते हैं और ३६ उदयपद पूर्वोक्त दस तथा औदारिकमिश्र, वैक्रियमिश्र और कार्मणयोग इन १३ योगों के साथ पाये जाते हैं। क्योंकि ये पद पर्याप्त और अपर्याप्त दोनों अवस्थाओं में संभव हैं, अत: ३६ को १३ से गुणित करने पर ४६० प्राप्त होते हैं ।

मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान के कुल पदवृन्द प्राप्त करने की रीति यह है कि ३२० और ४६८ को जोड़कर इनको २४ से गुणित करदें तो मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान के कुल पदवृन्द आ जाते हैं, जो ३२० + ४६८ = ७८८ X २४ = १८६१२ होते हैं ।
