षष्ठ कर्मग्रन्थ दूसरे गुणस्थान में हो जाता है । इन दोनों भंगों का सम्बन्ध नीच. गोत्र के बंध से है, अतः इनका सद्भाव पहले और दूसरे गुणस्थान में बताया है, आगे तीसरे सम्यगमिष्याटि आदि गणास्थानों में ही बताया है। चौथा भङ्ग आदि के पाँच गुणस्थानों में सम्भव है क्योंकि नीचगोत्र का उदय पाँचवें गुणस्थान तक सम्भव है, अत: प्रमत्तसंयत आदि आगे के गुणस्थानों में इसका अभाव बतलाया है। उच्चगोत्र का बंध दसवें मूक्ष्मसंपराय गुणस्थान तक होता है, अत: पाँचवां भङ्ग आदि के दस गुणस्थानों में सम्भव है, क्योंकि इस भङ्ग में उच्चगोत्र का बंध विवक्षित है । जिससे आगे के गुणस्थानों में इसका निषेध किया है । छठा भङ्ग-उच्चगोत्र का उदय और उच्च-नीच गोत्र की सत्ता-उपशान्तमोह मुणस्थान से लेकर अयोगिकेवली गुणस्थान के द्विचरम समय तक होता है। क्योंकि नीचगोत्र की सत्ता यहीं तक पाई जाती है और इस भङ्ग में नीचगोत्र की सत्ता गभित है । सातवा भङ्ग अयोगिकेवली गुणस्थान के अंतिम समय में होता है। क्योंकि उच्चगोत्र का उदय और उच्चगोत्र की सत्ता अयोगिकेवली गुणस्थान के अंतिम समय में पाई जाती है और इस भङ्ग में उच्च गोत्र का उदय और सत्ता संकलित है ।
