कर्मविपाक
[प्रथम कर्मग्रन्थ] भंगलाचरण एवं अभिधेय :
सिरि वीर जिर्ण बंदिय, कम्मविवागं समासओ दुन्छ। कीरइ जिएण हेबहि, जेणं तो भण्णए कामं ॥१॥ गाथार्थ-श्री वीर जिनेन्द्र की बन्दना-नमस्कार करके संक्षेप में 'कर्मविपाक' नामक ग्रन्थ को कहूंगा । मिथ्यात्व आदि कारणों से जीव द्वारा जो किया जाता है, उसे तथा उनके निमित्त से जो कर्मयोग्य पद्गल द्रव्य अपने प्रदेशों के साथ मिला लिया जाता है, उस आत्मसम्बद्ध पुद्गलद्रव्य को कम कहते हैं।
विशेषार्थ-शिष्टजनोचित प्रवृत्ति का प्रदर्शन करने और कार्य के निर्विघ्न पूर्ण होने के लिए कार्य के प्रारम्भ में मंगल कारी महापुरुषों का स्मरण किया जाता है । इसीलिये ग्रन्थकार ने ग्रन्थ प्रारम्भ करने मे पूर्व सिरि वीर जिणं' पद द्वारा श्री वीर जिनेन्द्रदेव को नमस्कार किया है। श्री वीर जिनेन्द्रदेव को नमस्कार करने का कारण यह है कि उन्होंने ग्रन्थ में वर्णित कर्मों को पूर्ण रूप से नष्ट कर शुद्ध, बुद्ध आत्म-स्वरूप को प्राप्त कर लिया है।
'सिरि योर जिणं'-यह पद श्री वीर जिनेन्द्रदेव के नाम एवं साथ-साथ उनकी विशेषताओं को भी बोध कराने वाला है; जैसे कि
