काया में परिस्पन्दन होता है और होती है । गति होने पर देह और ग्रहण होता है और विषयों के और फिर इन राग-द्वेषरूप भावों से संसार का चक्र चलता रहता है ।
उससे कर्मो का आसव होने से गति आदि देह में इन्द्रियाँ बनती है, उनसे विषयों का ग्रहण से राग-द्वेष उत्पन्न होता रहता है
अनादि होने पर भी कर्मों का अन्त सम्भव है ?
जो अनादि होता है उसका कभी नाश नहीं हो सकता, ऐसा सामान्य नियम है । लेकिन कर्म और आत्मा के अनादि सम्बन्ध के बारे में यह नियम सा कालिक नहीं है । स्वर्ण और मिट्टी का दूध और घी का अनादि सम्बन्ध है, तथापि वे प्रयत्न विशेष से पृथक-पृथक होते देखे जाते हैं । वैसे ही आरमा और कर्म के अनादि सम्बन्ध का भी अन्त होता है । यह स्मरणीय है कि व्यक्ति रूप से कोई भी कर्म अनादि नहीं है, किसी एक कर्म- विशेष का आत्मा के साथ अनादि सम्बन्ध नहीं है । पूर्वबद्ध कर्मस्थिति पूर्ण होने पर वह आत्मा से पृथक हो जाता है और नवीन कर्म का बंध होता रहता है। इस प्रकार से प्रवाहरूप से कर्म के अनादि होने पर भी व्यक्तिशः अनादि नहीं है और तपसंयम के द्वारा कमों का प्रवाह नष्ट होने से आत्मा मुक्त हो जाती है । इस प्रकार कर्मो की अनादि परम्परा प्रयत्न- विशेषों से नष्ट हो जाती है और पुनः नवीन कर्मों का बंध नहीं होता है ।
आत्मा और कर्म में बलवान कौन ?
कर्मों के अनादि होने पर भी आत्मा अपने प्रयत्नों से कर्मों को नष्ट कर देती है। अतः कर्म की अपेक्षा आत्मा की शक्ति अनन्त है । बहिष्टि से कर्म शक्तिशाली प्रतीत होते हैं और कर्म के वशवर्ती होकर आत्मा नाना योनियों में जन्म-मरण के चक्कर के भी काटती रहती है, परन्तु अन्तर्दृष्टि से देखा जाय तो आत्मा की शक्ति असीम है । वह जैसे अपनी परिणति से कर्मों का आसन करती है और उनमें उलझी रहती है, वैसे ही कर्मों को क्षय करने की क्षमता भी रखती
