प्रकृतियों के उत्तरभेदों की संख्या इस गाथा में बतलाई है | गाथा में प्रकृतियों के नाम न देकर उत्तरभेदों की संख्या ही कही है । अतः चौबीसवीं गाथा में कही गई प्रकृतियों के नामों के आगे इस गाथा में बताई गई संख्या को क्रमशः इस प्रकार जोड़ना चाहिए ।

इस प्रकार नामकर्म की चौदह पिंडप्रकृतियों के उक्त प्रभेदों को मिलाने से उत्तरभेदों की समस्त संख्या ६५ होती है ।
नामकर्म की १३, १०३ और ६७ प्रकृतियाँ होने के कारण तथा बन्ध आदि की अपेक्षा कर्मप्रकृतियों को भिन्न संख्या को निम्नलिखित दो गाथाओं में स्पष्ट करते हैं
सामन्नवण्णचउ ॥३१॥
अडवीस - जुया तिनवs संते वा पनरबंधणे तिसयं । बंधणसंघाय गहो तणू सु इय सत्तट्ठी बंधोदए य न य सम्ममीसया बन्धे । बन्धुबए सत्ताए बोसयोस अट्ठावन्नसयं ॥ ३२ ॥ गाथार्थ - नामकर्म को पिंडप्रकृतियों के उक्त भेदों में अट्ठाईस प्रकृतियों को मिलाने से तेरानचे भेद तथा इनमें बन्धन के पन्द्रह भेद जोड़ने से एकसौ तीन भेद तथा पाँच शरीरों में बन्धन तथा संघातन के भेदों को ग्रहण करने और सामान्य से वर्णचतुष्क का ग्रहण किए जाने से बंध, उदय और उदीरणा के सड़सठ भेद समझ लेना चाहिए । बन्ध के समय
