५ प्रकृतिक तीन उदयस्थान हैं तथा ९ प्रकृतिका बन्ध होते हुए २१ प्रकृतिक सत्त्वस्थानमें ७ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थानका अभाव होनेसे ६-५ व ४ प्रकृतिक तीन उदयस्थान हैं। उपशमकअपूर्वकरण में ९ प्रकृतिके बन्धमें २८-२४ व २१ प्रकृतिक सत्त्वस्थानमें ६-५ व ४ प्रकृतिक तीन उदयस्थान हैं एवं क्षपकअपूर्वकरणके २१ प्रकृतिका सत्त्व होते हुए ६-५ व ४ प्रकृतिरूप तीन उदयस्थान हैं। उपशमक अनिवृत्तिकरणगुणस्थान में २८-२४ व २१ प्रकृतिका और क्षपकअनिवृत्तिकरणके १३-१२ व ११ प्रकृतिका सत्त्व होते हुए ५ प्रकृतिके बन्धसहित २ प्रकृतिका एवं ४ प्रकृतिका बन्ध होते हुए २ प्रकृतिका उदय है, किन्तु ११-५ व ४ प्रकृतिका सत्त्व होते हुए १ प्रकृतिका उदय है।
अर्थ - ३-२ व १ प्रकृतिके बन्धसहित उपशमकअनिवृत्तिकरणके २८-२४ व २१ प्रकृतिका सत्त्व होनेपर और क्षपकअनिवृत्तिकरणके ४ व ३ प्रकृतिका, ३ व २ प्रकृतिका अथवा २ ब १ प्रकृतिका सत्त्व होनेपर एक-एक प्रकृतिक हो उदयस्थान होता है। यहाँ नवकसमयबद्धकी विवक्षासे दो-दो प्रकारके सत्त्व कहे हैं ।
