मरणोन्मुखदशामें प्रथमोपशमसम्यक्त्व प्राप्त किया पश्चात् अनन्तानुबन्धीका किसी एक प्रकृतिके उदयसे सम्यक्त्वकी बिराधना की तो वह भोगभूमिमें तीन अशुभलेश्यासहित सासादनगुणस्थानवर्ती तिर्यञ्च हुए इनके तिर्यञ्चगतिसहित २९ ३० प्रकृतिक तथा मनुष्यगतिसहित २१ प्रकृतिक स्थानका बन्ध होता है, क्योंकि 'मिच्छदुगे देवचऊ तित्थं पहि' इस वचन से देवगतिसहित २८ प्रकृतिरूप स्थानका बन्ध अपर्याप्तावस्था में नहीं है। जिन्होंने पहले तिर्यञ्चायुका बन्ध किया है ऐसे कर्मभूमिंज मनुष्य कृतकृत्यवेदक या क्षायिकसम्यग्दृष्टि होकर तीन प्रकारके पात्रदानसे तीन दो अथवा एक पत्यप्रमाण आयुवाले होकर कापोतलेश्याके जघन्य अंशोंसे उत्कृष्ट मध्यम अथवा जघन्य भोगभूमिमें उत्पन्न होते हैं वहाँ वेदक अर्थात् कृतकृत्यवेदक या क्षायिकसम्यक्त्वसहित अपर्याप्तावस्थामें देवगतिसंयुक्त २८ प्रकृतिक स्थानोंको ही बाँधते हैं। पर्याप्तावस्थामें मिध्यात्त्र, सासादन, मिश्र और असंयत गुणस्थानवर्ती भोगभूमिज तीन शुभलेश्याओंसे संयुक्त हैं यहाँ मिथ्यात्व और सासादनगुणस्थानवत तो देवगतियुत २८ प्रकृतिकस्थानका बन्ध करते हैं तथा मिश्र व असंयत गुणस्थानवर्ती भी २८ प्रकृतिक स्थानका ही बन्ध करते हैं। इसप्रकार श्यासहित तिर्यञ्चों के बन्धस्थानोंका वर्णन हुआ। अब मनुष्यों में नामकर्मके बन्धस्थान कहते हैं-
लब्ध्यपर्याप्तक्रमनुष्य में तीन अशुभलेश्या ही हैं और निर्वृत्यपर्याप्तकके छहों लेश्या हैं। तीन अशुभलेश्यासहित मिथ्यादृष्टि २३-२५-२६-२९ और ३० प्रकृतिक स्थान बाँधते हैं । सासादनगुणस्थानवर्तीके २९ व ३० प्रकृतिके दो स्थान और असंयतगुणस्थानवर्ती देवगतियुत २८ प्रकृतिक स्थान तथा देव तीर्थंकरयुत २९ प्रकृतिरूप स्थान ऐसे दो स्थान बँधते हैं। पर्याभावस्था में छहों लेश्या पाई जाती हैं, अतः यहाँ मिध्यात्वगुणस्थानमें २३ २५ २६ २८ २९ और ३० प्रकृतिरूप छह स्थान हैं, सासादनगुणस्थान में २८, २९ व ३० प्रकृतिक तीन स्थान हैं, इनमें २८ प्रकृतिरूप स्थान तो देवगतिसहित २९ प्रकृतिका स्थान तिर्यञ्च व मनुष्यगतिसंयुक्त एवं ३० प्रकृतिका स्थान तिर्यञ्चगति और उद्योतसहित बँधता है। मिश्रगुणस्थानमें देवगतिसहित २८ प्रकृतिरूप एक ही स्थान है । असंयतगुणस्थानमें एवं तीन शुभलेश्यासहित देशसंयत व प्रमत्तगुणस्थान में देवयुत २८ तथा देवतीर्थंकरसहित २९ प्रकृतिक बन्धस्थान है। अप्रमत्तगुणस्थान में पूर्वोक्त २८ व २९ प्रकृतिरूप दो स्थान तथा आहारकद्विक सहित ३० ३१ प्रकृतिरूप स्थान ऐसे चारस्थान बँधते हैं। अपूर्वकरणगुणस्थान में शुक्ललेश्या ही है, यहाँ पर पूर्वोक्त चारस्थान और अन्तिमभागमें एक प्रकृतिरूप बन्धस्थान इसप्रकार पाँचस्थान बँधते हैं। बादर अनिवृत्तिकरण और सूक्ष्मसाम्परायगुणस्थान में एक प्रकृतिरूप ही बन्धस्थान है। आगे उपशान्तादिगुणस्थानों में बन्धका अभाव है। भोगभूमिज मनुष्यों में भोगभूमिज तिर्यञ्चवत् बन्धस्थान का कथन जानना । अब देवगति में बन्धस्थान कहते हैं-

After attaining the first stage of liberation (Prathamopaśama Samyaktv) while on the verge of death, if one's Samyaktv is destroyed by the arising of any one of the infinite karmas (Anantānubandhīkā), then they become a Tiryancha (animal) in the Bhoga Bhumi (realm of experience) with three unfavorable Leshyas (karmic tendencies) and residing in the Sasadan Gunasthan (state of being). They bind 29 and 30 karmic states (Prakriti) along with the Tiryancha Gati (animal realm) and 21 karmic states along with the Manushya Gati (human realm).
