भुज्यपानमनुष्य आयुवाला उपशम - सम्यग्दृष्टिजीव आहारकचतुष्कका बन्धकरनेके बाद सासादनगुणस्थानमें आया तब उसके १४४ प्रकृतिकी सत्ता रहेगी।
जिस उपशमसम्यग्दृष्टिमनुष्य ने पहले देवायुका बन्ध किया हो और सप्तमगुणस्थान में आहारकचतुष्क का बन्ध करके प्रमत्त होकर द्वितीयगुणस्थान में आया और मरण किया तथा देव होगया उससमय उसके १४४ प्रकृति की सत्ता रहती है। अबद्धायुष्क की अपेक्षा द्वितीयस्थान के प्रथमभंग में भुज्यमानमनुष्यायु होती है। यहाँ भुज्यमान देवायु है। इस गुणस्थानमें १२ भंग न होकर ११ भंग ही होते हैं ऐसा किन्हीं आचार्यों का मत है (गाथा ३९४ देखो) और बध्यमानदेवायुवाला द्वितीयोपशमसम्यग्दृष्टिजीव सासादनगुणस्थानमें मरता नहीं, ऐसा उनका मत है।

आयुबिना दो आयु और तीर्थकर) यह गुणस्थान चारोंही गतिके जीवों में पाया जाता है तथा चारों ही बध्यमानआयुवाला जीव इस गुणस्थान को प्राप्त करता है। अतः मिध्यात्वगुणस्थानमें बद्धायुष्कके द्वितीयस्थानमें कथित १२ भंगों के समान यहाँ भी १२ भंग होते हैं, किन्तु पूर्वके समानही दोघुनरुक्त और पाँच समानभंग कम करने पर ५ ही भंग ग्रहण किये हैं। ___बद्धायुष्ककी अपेक्षा प्रथमस्थानमें कधित १४५ प्रकृतियोंमें से बध्यमानआयुको कम करने पर १४४ प्रकृति रहीं। चागतिसम्बन्धी भुज्यमानआयु की अपेक्षा चार भंग होते हैं।
