उदययोग्य नहीं हैं तथा चक्षुदर्शन में साधारण, आतप, एकेन्द्रिय-द्वीन्द्रिय व त्रीन्द्रियजाति, स्थावर, सूक्ष्म और तीर्थङ्कर ये आठप्रकृति उदययोग्य नहीं हैं अतः इन बिना ११४ प्रकृतियों का उदय पाया जाता
है।
विशेषार्थ - मतिज्ञान, श्रुतज्ञान और अवधिज्ञान में गुणस्थान असंयत से क्षीणकषायपर्यन्त ९ होते हैं, उदययोग्य प्रकृति १०६ हैं । यहाँ सामान्य से गुणस्थानोक्त १२२ प्रकृतिमें से प्रथम, द्वितीय और तृतीयगुणस्थानसम्बन्धी व्युच्छिन्नप्रकृतियाँ १५ तथा तीर्थकर इन १६ प्रकृतियों का उदय नहीं पाया जाता है । उदयव्युच्छित्ति, उदय और अनुदय का कथन इसप्रकार है
असंयतगुणस्थान से क्षीणकषायपर्यन्त ९ गुणस्थानों में व्युच्छित्तिरूप प्रकृति क्रम से १७-८५-४-६-६-१-२ और १६ जानना तथा उदय यथाक्रम १०४-८७-८१-७६-७२-६६-६०-५९ व ५७ प्रकृतियों का है। अनुदयगुणस्थानों में क्रम से २-१९-२५-३०-३४-४०-४६-४७ और ४९ प्रकृतियों का जानना ।
