अथानन्तर देवगतिसम्बन्धी उदयादि का कथन करते हैं
भोगं व सुरे णरचउणराउवज्जूण सुरचउसुराउं।
खिव देवे णेवित्थी, इथिम्मि ण पुरिसवेदो य॥३०४॥ अर्थ - भोगभूमिजमनुष्य के उदययोग्य ७८ प्रकृतियों में से मनुष्यगति, मनुष्यगत्यानुपूर्वी, औदारिकशरीर, औदारिकअोपाङ्ग, मनुष्यायु और वज्रर्षभनाराचसंहनन इन छह प्रकृतियों को कम करके देवगति , देवगत्यानुपूर्वी, वैक्रियिकशरीर, वैक्रियिकअनोपाङ्ग और देवायु इन पाँच प्रकृतियों को मिलाने पर देवगति में सामान्य से ७७ प्रकृतियाँ उदययोग्य हैं, किन्तु देवों में स्त्रीवेद और देवांगनाओं में पुरुषवेद का उदय नहीं होता अत: देव-देवांगनाओं में उदययोग्य ७६ प्रकृति हैं।
विशेषार्थ- मिथ्यात्वगुणस्थान में व्युच्छिन्नप्रकृति १ मिथ्यात्व, उदयप्रकृति ७५, अनुदय सम्यग्मिथ्यात्व और सम्यक्त्व इन दो प्रकृतियों का। सासादनगुणस्थान में व्युच्छित्ति अनन्तानुबन्धी की चारकषाय, उदयप्रकृति ७४, अनुदयप्रकृति ३ । मिश्रगुणस्थान में व्युच्छित्ति सम्यग्मिथ्यात्व की, उदयप्रकृति ७०, देवगत्यानुपूर्वी का उदय न होने से और मिश्रप्रकृति का उदय है अत: अनुदयप्रकृति ७। असंयतगुणस्थान में अप्रत्याख्यान की कषाय चार, देवगति, देवगत्यानुपूर्वी, वैक्रियिकशरीर वैक्रियिकअङ्गोपाङ्ग और देवायु की व्युच्छित्ति तथा उदय ७५ प्रकृति का, देवगत्यानुपूर्वी और सम्यक्त्वप्रकृति का उदय होने से अनुदय ६ प्रकृति का है।
