शंका - अनन्तानुबन्धी-अप्रत्याख्यान-प्रत्याख्यान और सज्वलन इस प्रकार से क्रम है, किन्तु द्रव्य के विभाजन में इस क्रमको न रखकर अनन्तानुबन्धी-सज्वलन-प्रत्याख्यान-अप्रत्याख्यान ऐसा क्रम क्यों रखा गया है?
समाधान - धर्म की जड़ जो सम्यग्दर्शन, उसको अनन्तानुबन्धी घातती है जिस प्रकार वृक्ष की जड़ काटने में अधिक शक्ति की आवश्यकता होती है उसी प्रकार धर्मकी जड़का घात करनेवाली अनन्तानुबन्धी को अधिकद्रव्य दिया गया। चारित्र में सर्वोत्कृष्ट चारित्र 'यथाख्यात' चारित्र है अत: उस उत्कृष्टचारित्र की घातक सञ्चलनकषाय में अन्यकषायों की अपेक्षा अधिकशक्ति होनी चाहिए। जिसप्रकार सामान्यमनुष्य की अपेक्षा प्रधान (President) को मारने के लिए अधिक योजना बनानी पड़ती है उसी प्रकार यहां यथाख्यात' संयम की घातक सञ्चलनकषाय के हिस्से में प्रत्याख्यान व अप्रत्याख्यानकषाय की अपेक्षा अधिकद्रव्य दिया गया। प्रत्याख्यानकषाय महाव्रतों का घातती है और अप्रत्याख्यानकषाय अणुव्रतों का घात करती है। हीनपुरुष की अपेक्षा महान पुरुष का घात करने वाले में तीव्रकषाय होती है इसी कारण प्रत्याख्यानकषाय को अप्रत्याख्यान की अपेक्षा अधिकद्रव्य दिया गया है। यही कारण है कि विभाजनमें अनन्तानुबन्धी-सज्वलन-प्रत्याख्यान और अप्रत्याख्यान, इस प्रकार कषायों का क्रम रखा गया है। अब नोकषायरूप प्रकृतियों में विशेषता कहते हैं -
तण्णोकसायभागो, सबंधपणणोकसाय पयडीसु।
हीणकमो होदि तहा, देसे देसावरणदव्वं ।।२०४॥ अर्थ - नोकषायके हिस्से में आया हुआ द्रव्य युगपत् बँधनेवाली ५ नोकषायरूप प्रकृतिको क्रम से हीन-हीन देना और इसीप्रकार ज्ञानावरणादिकी देशघातिप्रकृतियों में देशधातिद्रव्य देना।
विशेषार्थ - जो नोकषाय सम्बन्धीद्रव्य है वह युगपत् बँधने वाली ५ नोकषाय को हीनक्रम से देना चाहिए। पुरुषवेद,रति, हास्य, भय और जुगुप्साका बन्ध मिथ्यात्वसे प्रमत्तगुणस्थानपर्यन्त होता है। स्त्रीवेद, रति, हास्य, भय और जुगुप्सा का अथवा स्त्रीवेद, अरति, शोक, भय और जुगुप्सा का बन्ध मिथ्यात्व और सासादन में होता है। नपुंसकवेद, रति, हास्य, भय और जुगुप्सा का अथवा नपुंसकवेद, अरति, शोक, भय और जुगुप्सा इन पाँच का बन्ध मिथ्यात्वगुणस्थान में युगपत् होता है। नोकषाय सम्बन्धीद्रव्य का जिसप्रकार पहले विभाग कहा था उसी प्रकार बँधनेवाली इन पाँच प्रकृतियों में क्रम से हीन-हीन द्रव्य देना।
