पर्याप्ति/१७७ शङ्का-"तीसरे गुणस्थान में पर्याप्त ही होते हैं" ऐसा नियम स्वीकार कर लेने पर लो एकान्तवाद प्राप्त होता है।
समाधान नहीं, क्योंकि अनेकान्तभित एकान्तबाद के सभाव मानने में कोई विरोध नहीं पाता है।'
भवनबासी, वानव्यन्तर और ज्योतिषी देव और उनकी देबियाँ तथा सौधर्म और ऐशान कल्पवासिनी देवियाँ ये सब मिथ्यावृष्टि और सासादनसम्यग्दृष्टि गुणस्थान में पति भी होते हैं और अपर्याप्त भी। किन्तु सम्यग्मिथ्यादृष्टि और असंयत सम्यग्दृष्टि गुणस्थानों में नियम से पयप्ति होते हैं ।
शङ्का-सम्यग्मिथ्याष्टिजीव भले ही भवनवासी आदि देवों में और देवियों में उत्पन्न नहीं होते, यह तो ठीक है, परन्तु यह बात नहीं बनती कि असंयतसम्यग्दृष्टि उक्त देव-देवियों में उत्पन्न नहीं होते।
समाधान नहीं, क्योंकि सम्यग्दृष्टि की जान्य देवों में उत्पनि नहीं होती है।
शङ्का जघन्य अवस्था को प्राप्त नारकियों और तिर्यंचों में उत्पन्न होने वाले सम्यग्दृष्टिजीव उनसे उत्कृष्ट अवस्था को प्राप्त भवनवासी आदि देव व देवियों में तथा कल्पवासी देबियों में क्यों नहीं उत्पन्न होते ?
समाधान-नहीं, क्योंकि जो प्रायुकर्म का बन्ध करते समय मिध्यादृष्टि थे और जिन्होंने सदनन्तर सम्यग्दर्शन को ग्रहण किया है ऐसे जीवों की नरकादि गति में उत्पत्ति के रोकने की सामर्थ्य सम्यग्दर्शन में नहीं है।
शङ्का-सम्यग्दृष्टि जीवों की जिस प्रकार नरकगति आदि में उत्पत्ति होती है उसी प्रकार देवों में उत्पत्ति क्यों नहीं होती ?
समाघान-यह कहना ठीक ही है, क्योंकि यह बात इष्ट ही है । ५
