Preface
On looking at the far-sightedness of Genini Aryika Shri Gyanmati Mataji, it can be felt that she is such a wonderfuí gift of the God to the world, that her inspiration, guidance and blessings will be remembered for the number of centuries not only by the jain society out by the whole human world. The personality of adorable Mataji is so unique, that the effect of her multidimensional talent has proved beneficial for the protection of the whole earth, country, religion & the society. At one hand, the meaning of the name of Mataji encompasses the existence of knowledge in itself and at the other hand, the large number of treatises written by Mataji seem to prove her quality in accordance with her name. Broad mental horizon of Mataji is really amazing, whatever Mataji studied about Jain religion in her life, she wrote that all very significantly not only in one or two treatises but in about 250 treatises, for expressing the right way to lead to the path of salvation & for showering true scriptural knowledge on the society. By reading all these scriptures, even in the unfavourable con. ditions of country, religion & time, the whole human race will be able to get true path & knowledge for the true welfare.
In the same direction Pragyashramni Aryika Shri Chandnamati Mataji. the able disciple of Pujya Gyanmati Malaji, also expressed her deep thoughts that in the environment of drastically changing situations of concepts, new generation does not have almost any time for the study about religion & scriptures, in such a situation, if typical definitions, mysterious meanings & difficult formulae contained in our scriptures could not attract the interest of people, then in some aspect, a day may come, when the inclination of people towards scriptures descends towards zero level due to the unavailability of the proper meanings of difficult scriptural contents. And ultimately society may be misleaded. Anyika Shri Chandanamati Mataji says that the auspicious presence of the great knowledgeable saints having perfect conduct as described in the scriptures, like Shri Gyanmati Mataji, can be possible today but it is uncertain to anticipate the presence of such saints in future also. Really, I can not express my humble praise in words about the valuable thinking of Shri Chandnamati Mataji. Afterall, Mataji expressed her views that there should be a Jain dictionary containing small, simple & interesting description of Jain terminologies in Hindi &
