My Experience
To use a dictionary, particularly for the subject English, remains almost essential for each student while going through the school education. My student life was also not an exception to it. But even after getting the fortune of coming into the field of spiritual-education, I, myself, will be a testimony to the formation of a spiritual Dictionary at the place of usual dictionaryconsultation, even the Imagination of this fact was beyond my heart.
Infact, it is the great outcome of coming into the feet of a Curn like Ganini Pramukh Shri Gyanmati Mataji, the present lively form of the great Indian culture & for whom the hard work per mament is the only truth of the life, that such golden opportunities like directly visualizing & joining the historical incidents of l'rabluwa of Jainism are obtained so
As for as 'Lord Mahavir Hindi-English Jain Dictionary' is concerned, firstly I used to see Pujya Pragya Shranini Arvika Shri Chandnamati Mataji discussing with Dr. Anupam Jain and Shri Jeevan Prakash Jain (Indore) at Tapasthali Tirth-Prayag. later after coming on Kundalpur (Nalanda). when Pujya Mataji affectionately ordered me also, to join its Vacan, a mixed current of delight & fear passed through my heart, the reason was that at one pole there was the dictionary encompassing the vast & diverse principles of great Jain religion and at the other pole, was my wide ignorance. But, infact the compassion and farsightedness of Cards is always astonishing.
The golden chances of listening & understanding the fundamentals of Jainism directly by Pujya Gyanmati Mataji & Pujya Chandnamati Mataji, of being introduced with the experiences of their pious lives and moreover their close company have become greatly memorable for me. The vast knowledge of Pujya Ganini Mataji and the dedicated hard work of Pujya Chandnarati Mataji have made the present standarized form of this dictionary a reality, it is the true fact. Pujya Mataji has greatly obliged me by giving the fortune of getting associated with this historical work.
The efforts of Shri Jeevan Prakash Jain for this dictionary are really appreciable and worth-following for the youngsters of today. I always respect his feelings of regarding me as 'elder sister' and wish for his bright future. The humble nature of Shri Komal Chandji Jain (Indore) and the co-operation of Sanghastha Bralunacharini Sisters will also remain memorable.
With the humble wish of getting such occasions of obtaining right knowledge in the holy feet of Pujya Mataji again & again, Date : 16-7-2004
