एष पात्रविशेषस्ते संवोढुं शासनं महत् । इति विश्वमहीशेन' देवदेवस्य सोऽपितः ॥२८॥ कृतग्रन्थपरित्यागः प्राप्तग्रन्थार्थसंग्रहः । प्रकृष्टं संयमं प्राप्य सिद्धसप्तर्द्धिवर्द्धितः ॥२८५॥ चतुर्ज्ञानामलज्योतिर्हताततमनस्तमाः । अभूद् गणधरो भर्तुरेकसप्ततिपूरकः ॥२८६॥ सुलोचनाप्यसंहार्यशोका पतिवियोगतः । गलिताकल्पवल्लीव प्रम्लानामरभूरुहात् ॥२८७॥ शमिता चक्रवर्तीष्टकान्तयाऽशु सुमद्रया । ब्राह्मीसमीपे प्रव्रज्य भाविसिद्धिश्चिरं तपः ॥२८॥ कृत्वा विमाने साऽनुत्तरेऽभूत् कल्पेऽच्युतेऽमरः । आदितीर्थाधिनाथोऽपि मोक्षमार्ग प्रवर्तयन् ॥२८९॥ चतुरुत्तरयाऽशीत्या विविधर्द्धिविभूषितैः । चिरं वृषभसेनादिगणेशैः परिवेष्टितः ॥२९०॥ खपञ्चसप्तबार्राशिमितपूर्वधरान्वितः । खपञ्चैकचतुर्मेय शिक्षकैर्मुनिभि युतः ॥२६॥ तृतीयज्ञानसन्नेत्रैः सहस्रनवभिर्वृतः । केवलावगमैविंशतिसहस्रैः समन्वितः ॥२९२॥ खद्वयर्तुखपक्षोरुविक्रियर्द्धिविवर्द्धितः । स्रपञ्चसप्तपक्षकमिततुर्यविदन्वितः ॥२३॥ तावद्भिर्वादिमिर्वन्द्यो निरस्तपरवादिभिः । चतुरष्टखवायष्टमितैः सर्वश्च पिण्डितः ॥२६॥ संयमस्थानसंप्राप्तसंपद्भिस्सद्भिरर्चितः । खचतुष्केन्द्रियाग्न्युक्तपूज्यब्राह्मयार्यिकादिभिः ॥२९५॥ आर्यिकाभिरमिष्ट्रयमाननानागुणोदयः । दृढव्रतादिभिलक्षत्रयोक्तः श्रावकैः श्रितः ॥२९६॥
श्राविकामिः स्तुतः पञ्चलक्षामिः सुव्रतादिभिः । भावनादिचतुभेंददेवदेवीडितक्रमः ॥२९७॥ उस समय भगवान् ऋषभदेवके समीप जयकुमार ऐसा सुशोभित हो रहा था मानो आपके बड़े भारी शासनको धारण करनेके लिए यह एक विशेष पात्र है यही समझकर महाराज भरतने उसे भगवान्के लिए सौंपा हो ॥२८४॥ इस प्रकार जिसने सब परिग्रहका त्याग कर दिया है,
तका अर्थसंग्रह प्राप्त किया है, जो उत्कृष्ट संयम धारण कर सात ऋद्धियोंसे निरन्तर.. बढ़ रहा है, और चार ज्ञानरूपी निर्मल ज्योतिसे जिसने मनका विस्तीर्ण अन्धकार नष्ट कर दिया है ऐसा वह जयकुमार भगवान्का इकहत्तरवां गणधर हुआ ॥२८५-२८६॥ इधर पतिके वियोगसे जिसे बड़ा भारी शोक रहा है और जो पड़े हुए कल्पवृक्षसे नीचे गिरी हुई कल्पलताके समान निष्प्रभ हो गयी है ऐसी सुलोचनाने भी चक्रवर्तीकी पट्टरानी सुभद्राके समझानेपर ब्राह्मी आर्यिकाके पास शीघ्र ही दीक्षा धारण कर ली और जिसे आगामी पर्यायमें मोक्ष होनेवाला है ऐसी वह सुलोचना चिरकाल तक तप कर अच्युतस्वर्गके अनुत्तरविमानमें देव पैदा हुई। ____इधर जो मोक्षमार्गकी प्रवृत्ति चला रहे हैं, अनेक ऋद्धियोंसे सुशोभित वृषभसेन आदि चौरासी गणधरोंसे घिरे हुए हैं, चार हजार सात सौ पचास पूर्वज्ञानियोंसे सहित हैं, चार हजार एक सौ पचास शिक्षक मुनियोंसे युक्त हैं, नौ हजार अवधिज्ञानरूपी नेत्रको धारण करनेवाले मुनियोंसे सहित हैं, बीस हजार केवलज्ञानियोंसे युक्त हैं, बीस हजार छह सौ विक्रिया ऋद्धिके धारक मुनियोंसे वृद्धिको प्राप्त हो रहे हैं, बारह हजार सात सौ पचास मनःपर्ययज्ञानियोंसे अन्वित हैं, परवादियोंको हटानेवाले बारह हजार सात सौ पचास वादियोंसे वन्दनीय हैं, और इस प्रकार सब मिलाकर तपश्चरणरूपी सम्पदाओंको प्राप्त करनेवाले चौरासी हजार चौरासी मुनिराज जिनकी निरन्तर पूजा करते हैं, ब्राह्मी आदि तीन लाख पचास हजार आर्यिकाएँ जिनके गुणोंका स्तवन कर रही हैं, दृढ़वत आदि तीन लाख श्रावक जिनकी सेवा कर रहे हैं, सुव्रता आदि पाँच लाख श्राविकाएं जिनकी स्तुति कर रही हैं, भवनवासी आदि चार प्रकारके देव देवियाँ जिनके चरणकमलोंका स्तवन कर रही हैं, चौपाये आदि तिर्य चगतिके जीव जिनकी १.भरतेश्वरेण । २ वृषभेश्वरस्य । ३ जयः । ४ भ्रष्टादमर-ल०, ५०, १०, स०, इ० । ५ उपशान्ति नीता । ६ मातुं योग्य । ७-भिर्वतः ल०। ८ अवधिज्ञान । ९-भिर्युतः ल०। १० -राजितः । ११ मन:पर्ययज्ञानिसहितः ।

**Sampaṇ**

This is a special vessel, fit to bear the great Dharma. Thus, the King of the Universe, the Lord of Lords, bestowed him. ||28||

He has renounced all possessions, attained the essence of the scriptures, achieved supreme restraint, and is constantly growing with the seven perfections. ||285||

With the pure light of the four knowledges, he has dispelled the vast darkness of the mind. He became the seventy-first Ganadhara of the Lord. ||286||

Sulochana, overwhelmed with grief at the loss of her husband, was like a withered creeper fallen from a blooming tree. ||287||

Pacified by the queen of the Chakravarti, the radiant Subhadra, she quickly took initiation near the Brahmi Aryika, and, destined for liberation in the coming Kalpa, she practiced austerities for a long time. ||288||

She became a celestial being in the Achyuta heaven, in the Uttara Vimana. Aditya Tirtha, the Lord, also continues to guide the path to liberation. ||289||

He is surrounded by eighty-four Ganadharas, adorned with various perfections, and by the Vrishabhasena and other Ganadharas. ||290||

He is accompanied by four thousand seven hundred fifty former knowers, and four thousand one hundred fifty teacher monks. ||291||

He is surrounded by nine thousand monks possessing the eye of the third knowledge, and is endowed with twenty thousand Kevala knowers. ||292||

He is constantly growing with the twenty thousand six hundred monks possessing the perfection of Vikriya, and is endowed with twelve thousand seven hundred fifty Manahparyaya knowers. ||293||

He is revered by twelve thousand seven hundred fifty Vadis, who have refuted all opponents, and all together, he is surrounded by eighty-four thousand eighty-four monks, who constantly worship him. ||294||

He is worshipped by three hundred fifty thousand Aryikas, who praise his virtues, and by three hundred thousand Shravakas, who serve him. ||295||

He is praised by five hundred thousand Shravikas, who are devoted to him, and by the four types of Devas and Devis, who praise his lotus feet. ||296||

At that time, Jayakumar was shining near Rishabhadeva, as if the great King Bharat had entrusted him to the Lord, understanding that he was a special vessel fit to bear the heavy Dharma. ||284||
