". . आविद्यकं शरीरादि दृश्यं बुबुदवत्क्षरम् / : ઉતરું વિચારું વ્રતિ નિમેન્ ! . . :: All that belongs to the body must be considered as the product of ignorance. It is visible, it is perishable like the bubliles of air :( on the surface of water.) but, that which does not possess three signs must be recognised is pure spirit which asserts itself I am Bhrahama. ?! ઉત્તર–દેહ ઇદ્રિય વિગેરે દશ્ય પદાથે અવિદ્યાનાં કાર્ય છે તથા પાણીના પરપોટાની પેઠે નાશવંત છે અને તેથી ભિન્ન સત્ ચિત્ આનંદ સ્વરૂપ અવિદ્યારૂપ મલ રહિત જે બ્રહ્મ છે તેજ હું છું એમ નિશ્ચય કરે. આવા અપક્ષ દઢ નિશ્ચયથી જ જીવ કૃતકૃત્ય થાય છે. : ( જીવ બ્રહ્માની એકતારૂપ જ્ઞાન દઢ થવા સારૂ તત્વ જ્ઞાનના મનનવડે પ્રકાર કહે છે ) देहान्यत्वान्नमे जन्मजराकार्य लयादयः / ... ' રાદવિવસ નિદ્રિતા ન ર | Because I am distinct from body, I experience neither birth, old age, decrepitude nor extinction; and detached from the organs of sense, I have no longer any connection with their object such as sound. જન્મ, જરા, દુબલપણું મરણ વિગેરે ધમે સ્થૂલ શરીરના છે. હું સ્કૂલ શરીરથી ભિન્ન છું માટે જન્મ વિગેરે ધમે મારા નથી તથા શબ્દ સ્પર્શ રૂપ રસ અને ગંધ એ પાંચ વિષના ભાગરૂપ સંગ મારામાં નથી. કારણકે હું ઇદ્રિ રહિત છું. ઇંદ્રિને વિષયોની સાથે સોગ અથવા વિગ થવાથી મને અસંગને લાભ કે હાનિ નથી. . . . . . . . . . . . .
