इति स्वल्पं विश्वप्रणतचरितो दुश्चरतपाः
क्षमापारावारोऽखिलजनहिताराधनमनाः । जगद्वयापि-श्रेयस्कर-विविधदृसंगममयं
प्रवक्ता पन्थानं स्मृत इह यथाशक्ति भगवान् ॥१०॥
જગદ્દવન્દિત-ચરિત, દુશ્ચર તપની મૂર્તિ, ક્ષમાસમુદ્ર, વિશ્વહિતના આરાધનમાં નિમગ્ન અને દુનિયાભરને કલ્યાણકારક થાય એ વિવિધ દષ્ટિઓના સમન્વયથી સંપન્ન માર્ગ બતાવનાર એવા મહાપ્રભુ મહાવીરને આ પ્રમાણે (આ પ્રબધમાં) યથાશકિત કંઈક યાદ કર્યા.
In this way, according to my capacity, I have tried a little to remember Lord Mahavira, whose life has been revered by the whole world, who had practised the top-most penance, who was an ocean of forgiveness, who bad but one mind, namely, to accomplisb the good of all, and who has taught the path which is universal, is beneficial to all and towards wbich all the systems of philosophy converge.
