એવી પ્રત્યેક મનુષ્યની જ છે. દયાના કામ જેમ ધનથી. થાય છે, તેમ ખળથી ને કળથી પણ તે વિચાર થઇ શકે છે. માટે જો આપણે પ્રભુની દયા માગવી હાય તે આપણે પ્રથમ બીજાને દયા આપતાં શીખવુ જોઇએ. એ એક મુદ્રા લેખ છે.

ઘેાડા માસની વાત ઉપર જાણીતા ચુસ્ત વેજીટેરયન મી. લાભશંકર લક્ષ્મીદાસે એક હૅન્ડમીલ Against Keeping Pets'' નામે બહાર પાડયું હતું. જે અત્રે મામુ` પ્રગટ કરવાનું. ચેાગ્ય વિચારૂં છુ. •
(1) Misleading Man-kind
An article headed "Helps for Mothers' which appeared in a widely read news-paper is. reprinted in a humane magazine March, 1923. People are thein advised as follows:
“Allow your children to have pets. If a dog or cat is impossible, it might be a bird or even a few gold-fish would please the child. It teaches gentleness, and is out-let for the affection. inherent in the average childish heart."
(2) What will be the result?
The result of misleading mankind through the press as above will be that cruel trades in animals, Birds and Fishes already very fashio able in the world, will become much more
fashionable.
