जीव में त्रसपन, त्रसपन में भी पंचेन्द्रियपन उत्कृष्ट है । पंचेन्द्रियपन में भी मानवपन उत्तम है । उसमें आर्यदेश, आर्यदेश में उत्तमकुल, उत्तमकुल में उत्कृष्ट जाति-ज्ञाति और फिर उसमें रूप की समृद्धि उसमें भी प्रधानतावाली शक्ति, प्रधानबल मिलने के साथ-साथ लम्बी आयु, उसमें भी विज्ञान-विवेक, विज्ञान में भी सम्यक्त्व प्रधान है। और फिर सम्यक्त्व में शील की प्राप्ति बढिया मानी है। शील में क्षायिक भाव, क्षायिक भाव में केवल ज्ञान, प्रतिपूर्व केवलज्ञान प्राप्त होना यानि जरा मरण रहित मोक्ष प्राप्त हो ।
जन्म, जरा, मरण आदि के दुःख से बँधे जीव को इस संसार में कहीं भी सुख नहीं मिलता । इसलिए एकान्त मोक्ष ही उपदेश पाने के लायक है। ८४ लाख योनि में अनन्त बार दीर्घकाल तक भ्रमण करके अभी तुमने उस मोक्ष को साधने के लायक काफी चीजें पाई हैं तो आज तक पहले किसी दिन न पाई हुई ऐसी उत्तम चीजें पाई हैं तो हे लोगों ! तुम उसमें जल्द उद्यम करो । विबुध पंड़ित ने निन्दित संसार की परम्परा बढ़ानेवाले ऐसे इस स्नेह को छोड़ो, धर्मश्रवण करके अनेक क्रोड़ो वर्षों में दुर्लभ ऐसे सुंदर धर्म को यदि तुम यहाँ सम्यक् तरीके से नहीं करोगे तो फिर उस धर्म की प्राप्ति दुर्लभ होगी । प्राप्त बोधि सम्यक्त्व के अनुसार यहाँ जो धर्म प्रवृत्ति नहीं करता और आनेवाले भव में धर्म करेंगे ऐसी प्रार्थना करे वो भावी भव में किस मूल्य से बोधि प्राप्त करेंगे? सूत्र - १४९७
पूर्वभव के जातिस्मरण होने से ब्राह्मणी से जब यह सुना तब हे गौतम ! समग्र बन्धुवर्ग और दूसरे कईं नगरजन को प्रतिबोध हुआ।
हे गौतम ! उस अवसर पर सद्गति का मार्ग अच्छी तरह से मिला है । वैसे गोविंद ब्राह्मण ने कहा कि धिक्कार है मुझे, इतने अरसे तक हम बनते रहे, मूढ़ बने रहे, वाकई अज्ञान महाकष्ट है । निर्भागी-तुच्छ आत्मा को घोर उग्र परलोक विषयक निमित्त जिन्हें पता नहीं है, अन्य में आग्रहवाली बुद्धि करनेवाले, पक्षपात के मोहाग्नि को उत्तेजित करने के मानसवाले, राग-द्वेष से वध की गई बुद्धिवाले, यह आदि दोषवाले को इस उत्तम धर्म समझना काफी मुश्किल होता है । वाकई इतने अरसे तक मेरी आत्मा बनती रही । यह महान् आत्मा भार्या होने के बहाने से मेरे घर में उत्पन्न हुई। लेकिन निश्चय से उसके बारे में सोचा जाए तो सर्वज्ञ आचार्य की तरह इस संशय समान अँधेरे को दूर करनेवाले, लोक को प्रकाशित करनेवाले, बड़े मार्ग को सम्यक् तरीके से बताने के लिए ही खुद प्रकट हुए हैं । अरे, महा अतिशयवाले अर्थ की साधना करनेवाली मेरी प्रिया के वचन हैं । अरे यज्ञदत्त ! विष्णुदत्त ! यज्ञदेव ! विश्वामित्र ! सोम ! आदित्य आदि मेरे पुत्र, देव और असुर सहित पूरे जगत को यह तुम्हारी माता आदर और वंदन करने के लायक हैं।
अरे ! परन्दर आदि छात्र ! इस उपाध्याय की भार्याने तीन जगत को आनन्द देनेवाले. सारे पापकर्म को जलाकर भस्म करने के स्वभाववाली वाणी बताई उसे सोचो । गुरु की आराधना करने में अपूर्व स्वभाववाले तुम पर आज गुरु प्रसन्न हुए हैं । श्रेष्ठ आत्मबलवाले, यज्ञ करने-करवाने के लिए अध्ययन करना, करवाना, षट्कर्म करने के अनुराग से तुम पर गुरु प्रसन्न हुए हैं । तो अब तुम पाँच इन्द्रिय को जल्द से जीत लो । पापी ऐसे क्रोधानिक कषाय का त्याग करो । विष्ठा, अशुचि, मलमूत्र और आदि के कीचड़ युक्त गर्भावास से लेकर प्रसूति जन्म मरण आदि अवस्था कैसे प्राप्त होती है । वो तुम सब समझो । ऐसे काफी वैराग उत्पन्न करवानेवाले सुभाषित बताए ऐसे चौदह विद्या के पारगामी गोविंद ब्राह्मण को सुनकर काफी जन्म-जरा, मरण से भयभीत कईं सत्पुरुष धर्म की सोचने लगे । तब कुछ लोग ऐसा कहने लगे कि यह धर्म श्रेष्ठ है, प्रवर धर्म है । ऐसा दूसरे लोग भी कहने लगे । हे गौतम ! यावत् हर एक लोगों ने यह ब्राह्मणी जाति स्मरणवाली है ऐसे प्रमाणभूत माना।
उसके बाद ब्राह्मणीने अहिंसा लक्षणवाले निःसन्देह क्षमा आदि दश तरह के श्रमणधर्म को आशय-दृष्टान्त कहने के पूर्वक उन्हें परम श्रद्धा पैदा हो उस तरह से समझाया । उसके बाद उस ब्राह्मणी को यह सर्वज्ञ है ऐसा मानकर हस्तकमल की सुन्दर अंजली रचकर सम्मान से अच्छी तरह से प्रणाम करके हे गौतम ! उस ब्राह्मणी के

After wandering through 84 lakh species for an infinite number of times and for a long time, you have now obtained enough things to be worthy of attaining that liberation. If you have obtained such excellent things today that you have never obtained before, then, O people! You should quickly strive for it. Abandon this affection that increases the tradition of the condemned world, as preached by the wise. If you do not practice this beautiful Dharma properly here, then the attainment of that Dharma will be difficult. What value will the attainment of enlightenment have in the future life for someone who does not practice Dharma here according to the attained enlightenment and prays to practice Dharma in the future life? In the same way, Govinda Brahmin said, "Shame on me, for so long we have been pretending, we have been fools, ignorance is truly a great suffering. It is very difficult for those who do not know the terrible, fierce, otherworldly causes of the insignificant, insignificant soul, who have a mind that is attached to others, who are motivated to incite the fire of attachment to partiality, who have a mind that is killed by attachment and aversion, and who have these other faults, to understand this excellent Dharma. Truly, my soul has been pretending for so long. This great soul was born in my house under the guise of being a wife. But, if you think about it carefully, she has manifested herself to dispel this darkness of doubt, to illuminate the world, and to show the great path properly, just like the omniscient Acharya. Oh, the words of my beloved, who strives for the attainment of the most excellent meaning. Oh, Yajnadatt! Vishnudatt! Yajnadeva! Vishvamitra! Soma! Aditya, etc., my sons, along with the gods and demons, the entire world, your mother is worthy of your respect and reverence.
Oh! Parandar, etc., students! Think about the words spoken by the wife of this Upadhyaya, who has given joy to the three worlds, who has the nature to burn and incinerate all evil deeds. The Guru is pleased with you today because you have an extraordinary nature in worshipping the Guru. The Guru is pleased with you because you have a strong mind, a desire to study and teach for the purpose of performing sacrifices, and a desire to perform the six karmas. So now, quickly conquer your five senses. Abandon such sinful, angry passions. Understand how you obtain the state of birth, old age, and death, from the womb, which is filled with mud, excrement, impurities, and urine, etc. Such excellent words were spoken, which aroused great dispassion, and after listening to them, many virtuous people, who were afraid of birth, old age, and death, began to think about Dharma. Then, some people started saying, "This Dharma is excellent, it is the best Dharma." Others also started saying the same. O Gautam!
