________________ Ātmānuśāsana आत्मानुशासन hundreds of branches in form of points-of-view ( naya), lofty, and steady with deep roots of right and comprehensive sensory-knowledge (matijñāna). EXPLANATORY NOTE ācārya Pūjyapāda's Samādhitantram: रागद्वेषादिकल्लोलैरलोलं यन्मनो जलम् । स पश्यत्यात्मनस्तत्त्वं स तत्त्वं नेतरो जनः ॥३५॥ जिसका मन रूपी जल राग-द्वेष आदि लहरों से चंचल नहीं होता, वही व्यक्ति आत्मा के यथार्थ स्वरूप आत्मतत्त्व को देखता है अनुभव करता है, राग-द्वेष आदि कल्लोलों से आकुलितचित्त उस आत्मतत्त्व को अन्य कोई व्यक्ति नहीं देख सकता है। 138 - Only the man whose mind - by way of explanation, water – is not disturbed by the waves of imperfections like attachment and aversion can see (experience) the pure soul-substance; others whose minds are disturbed by the waves of imperfections like attachment and aversion cannot see (experience) the pure soulsubstance. तदेव तदतद्रूपं प्राप्नुवन्न विरस्यति । इति विश्वमनाद्यन्तं चिन्तयेद्विश्ववित् सदा ॥ १७१॥ - १ पाठान्तर अर्थ वह जीवादिरूप वस्तु तत् (विधि) तथा अतत् (निषेध) स्वरूप (अर्थात् नित्यानित्यादि स्वरूप) को प्राप्त होकर विराम को नहीं प्राप्त - - तत् तत्त्वं 1 ..........
