Source: (Author) 6.2.2 KHANDGIRI CAVES All the fourteen caves of Khandgiri is analyzed, as above in the case of udaygiri for different parameters and the results are as follows: Number of floors Khandgiri caves are mostly single-storeyed - only two of the fourteen caves found and surveyed in Khandgiri are double storeyed. The average ceiling of these cells were 1.18 m high. The cells in Tatowa Gumpha-1 and Khandgiri Gumpha are double storeyed caves and have ceiling height of 1.05 m at both levels.
