દીઓદષ્ટિ અચિત્ય પુણ્ય સામર્થ્યથી એક દેશના ચિત્ર ભાસે !
(૪૧૫) એક છતાં તસ દેશના, શ્રોતૃભેદથી તેમ;
અચિન્ય પુણ્ય સામર્થ્યયથી, ચિત્ર ભાસતી એમ, ૧૩૬
અર્થ:–અથવા તે એઓની (સર્વની) દેશના એક છતાં, શ્રોતાઓના વિભેદે કરીને, અચિત્ય પુણ્ય સામર્થ્યને લીધે, તથા પ્રકારે ચિત્ર-જૂદી જૂદી અવભાસે છે.
વિવેચન અથવા તે સર્વજ્ઞોની વાણીમાં ભેદ કેમ પડે છે? એ વિરોધને પરિહાર કરવા માટે બીજે યુક્તિસંગત ખુલાસે અહીં કર્યો છે -એઓની દેશના એક છતાં, શ્રોતાઓના
વિભેદે કરીને, અચિત્ય પુણ્ય સામર્થ્યના પ્રભાવને લીધે, તેવા સર્વજ્ઞ દેશના પ્રકારે ચિત્ર ભાસે છે! અર્થાત્ એ સર્વજ્ઞોના મુખવિનિગમને અપેક્ષીને એક છતાં ચિત્ર એટલે કે એએના મુખમાંથી નીકળી તે અપેક્ષાએ તે તેઓની દેશના ભાસે ! એક છે, છતાં તથાભવ્યત્વના ભેદથી શ્રોતાઓના ભેદને લીધે તે ચિત્ર
ભાસે છે ! આમ તે સર્વજ્ઞોના મુખમાંથી કરેલી વાણી તે એક જ પ્રકારની છે, પરંતુ શ્રોતાઓમાં તથાભવ્યત્વને ભેદ હોય છે, જુદી જુદી ભવ્યતા–ચોગ્યતા હોય છે, એટલે શ્રેતાઓનો ભેદ પડે છે, તેથી કરીને તે સર્વજ્ઞવાણી એઓના અચિત્ય પુણ્ય પ્રભાવથી તે તે શ્રેતાને ચિત્ર-જુદી જુદી પ્રતિભાસે છે! એટલે પિતાપિતાની ભવ્યતા પ્રમાણે પ્રત્યેક શ્રોતા સર્વજ્ઞવાણીને પિતપતાને ઉપકારી એવી અનુકૂળ અપેક્ષામાં સમજી જાય છે, પોતપોતાને કલ્યાણકારી અનુકૂળ અર્થમાં ગ્રહણ કરી લે છે, એટલે પ્રત્યેક સાંભળનાર જાણે એમજ સમજે કે ભગવાન આ જાણે મને જ ઉદ્દેશીને કહી રહ્યા છે ! એમx કહેવાય છે કે સમવસરણમાં બિરાજી ભગવાન તીર્થકર સર્વજ્ઞદેવ દેશના આપે છે. ત્યારે પશુ-પક્ષી, મનુષ્યાદિ સર્વ કોઈ પોતપોતાની ભાષામાં તેને ભાવ સમજી જાય છે, તેને અર્થ ગ્રહણ કરી લે છે! આ અદ્ભુત સર્વના વચનાતિશય હોય છે, તે એ જ પરમાર્થ સૂચવે છે.
અને આમ એક વાણી પણ અનેકરૂપે-ચિત્રરૂપે ભાસ્યમાન થાય છે, તે ભગવાન સર્વજ્ઞના અચિત્ય પુણ્ય સામર્થ્યને જ પ્રભાવ છે. કારણ કે “સવિ જીવ કરૂં શાસનરસી' એવી પરમ ઉદાત્ત પરેપકાર ભાવનાના બલથી, પોપદેશના કારણે કરી, તેઓએ મહાપુણ્યસંભાર સંચિત કર્યો હતો. તે પુણ્યના પરિપાકવશે કરીને આ ચમત્કારકારી અતિશયવંત મહાપ્રભાવ તેઓનો વર્તે છે ! જેમ મેઘવૃષ્ટિ તે એક જ હોય છે, પણ ભૂમિ પર પડતાં, તે તે ભૂમિના આકાર પ્રમાણે જુદા જુદા વહેળા વહે છે, તેમ આ સર્વશોએ વષવેલ બેધધારામય ઉપદેશવૃષ્ટિ એક જ પ્રકારની છે, છતાં ભિન્ન ભિન્ન શ્રોતા પાત્રની x “ तेषामेव स्वस्वभाषापरिणाममनोहरम् ।

Just as the rain from the clouds is one, but when it falls on the earth, it flows in different ways according to the shape of the earth, so this all-pervading, torrential, rain of teachings is of one kind, but it appears differently to different listeners, because of their different capacities.
