Gendous ની વ્યાખ્યામાં જાણે કે મધર ટેરેસા (Mother Teresa) ના જીવનનું રેખાચિત્ર દોર્યું હોય એમ લાગે છે.
લોકપ્રિયતાના ઉપર જણાવેલ ગુણો જેના જીવનમાં રગેરગમાં વ્યાપેલા છે એવા સૌમ્યમુર્તિ મધર ટેરેસા આજે જગતમાં કદાચ સર્વોત્કૃષ્ટ લોકપ્રિયતા ધરાવે છે એમાં કંઈ નવાઈ જેવું નથી. મધર ટેરેસા માટે એક વિચાર આવે છે:
