तदिमे विषयाः किलैहिका न मुदे केऽपि विरक्त चेतसाम् । परलोकसुखेऽपि निःस्पृहा परमानन्दरसालसा अमी ॥१७॥
भावार्थ : इसलिए विरक्तचेता मुनियों के इहलोकसम्बन्धी कोई भी विषय आनन्ददायक नहीं होता तथा परम आनन्दरस में मग्न होकर अन्य रसों से भी उदासीन ये मुनिवर परलोकसुख के बारे में नि:स्पृह होते हैं ||१७||
मदमोहविषादमत्सरज्वरबाधाविधुराः सुरा अपि । विषमिश्रितपायसान्नवत् सुखमेतेष्वपि नैति रम्यताम् ॥१८॥
भावार्थ : देवता भी मद, मोह, विषाद एवं मत्सररूप ज्वरों से पीड़ित होते हैं । इसलिए विषमिश्रित खीर के समान देवों का सुख भी रमणीयकोटि में नहीं आता ||१८|| रमणीविरहेण वह्निना बहुवाष्पानिलदीपितेन यत् । त्रिदशैर्दिवि दुःखमाप्यते, घटते तत्र कथं सुखस्थिति: ? ॥१९॥
भावार्थ : स्वर्ग में देवता देवांगना के विरहरूपी अग्नि को अनेक चक्षुरूपी वायु से भड़का - भड़का कर दुःख पाते हैं, अत: स्वर्ग में सुख की स्थिति कैसे घटित हो सकती है ? ॥१९॥ प्रथमानविमानसम्पदां च्यवनस्यापि दिवो विचिन्तनात् । हृदयं न हि यद् विदीर्यते घुसदां तत्कुलिशाणुनिर्मितम् ॥२०॥
भावार्थ : देवलोक में से च्यवन होने वाला है, यों विचार करके बड़े विमानों की सम्पदा वाले देवों का हृदय
