The sweet sounds of the cuckoo bird wandering on the mango blossoms can never captivate (the Jain ascetic). ॥ 3 ॥
The melodious sounds of the bracelets on the delicate hands of the women do not distract the Yogis who are immersed in the beloved (spiritual) music revealed by the dancer of spiritual experience. ॥ 4 ॥
The sweet melody of the women's panchama (fifth note) cannot disturb the pure-hearted sadhaks, for the Sadhaks who are absorbed in the gentle and sweet utterances of equanimity are not pleased by this panchama sound of the women. ॥ 5 ॥
The ever-waning form born of semen and blood is not dear to the Yogis who are the seers of their own imperishable, naturally pure, and primordial self-form. ॥ 6 ॥
The object of senses, which is full of misery, is not pleasing to the vision like the experience of the imperishable. ॥ 7 ॥
