Bhavārtha: The destruction of karmic substances is called dravyamokṣa, but it is not the characteristic of the soul. However, the soul endowed with the triad of ratnatraya (right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct) is the cause of that dravyamokṣa, and it is called bhāvamokṣa.
When the soul attains oneness (ekya) with knowledge, perception, and conduct, the karmas become, as it were, displeased and quickly separate.
Therefore, ratnatraya is the mokṣa (liberation), and in its absence, there is no accomplishment in the guises of the heretical sects or the householder's garb.
Those who are engrossed in the guises of the heretical sects or the householder's garb are childish intellects and are not the knowers of the essence of the doctrine (samayasāra).
