अज्ञानिनां द्वितीयं तु लोकदृष्ट्या यमादिकम् । तृतीयं शान्तवृत्त्या तत्तत्त्वसंवेदनानुगस् ॥२३॥
भावार्थ : दूसरा कर्म है- लोकदृष्टि से यम, नियम आदि । वह अज्ञानियों का होता है । और तीसरा कर्म शान्तवृत्ति से उन-उन तत्त्वों के ज्ञान का अनुसरण करने वाला होता है । अर्थात् वह अनुबन्धकर्म ज्ञानियों का ही होता है ॥२३॥ आद्यान्नाज्ञानबाहुल्यान्मोक्षबाधक - बाधनम् । सद्भावाशयलेशेनोचितं जन्म परे जगुः ॥२४॥
भावार्थ : अज्ञान की अधिकता के कारण प्रथम कर्म मोक्ष में बाधक रागादि को रोकने में समर्थ नहीं होता । और कितने ही आचार्यों का कथन है कि वैराग्यादि सद्भाव वाला परिणाम लेशमात्र होने से वह उस परिणाम के अनुरूप (योग्य) जन्म प्राप्त करता है ॥२४॥
द्वितीयाद् दोषहानिः स्यात् काचिन्मण्डूकचूर्णवत् । आत्यन्तिकी तृतीया तु गुरुलाघवचिन्तया ॥२५॥
भावार्थ : दूसरे कर्म से मेंढक के चूर्ण के समान कुछ दोषों की हानि ( नाश) होती है । और तीसरे कर्म से तो गुरुलाघव पर विचार करने से दोषों का आत्यन्तिक (सर्वथा) नाश (हानि) हो जाता है ॥२५॥
अपि स्वरूपतः शुद्धा क्रिया तस्माद् विशुद्धिकृत् । मौनीन्द्रव्यवहारेण मार्गबीजं दृढादरात् ॥२६॥
