यथाक्रमममी प्रोक्ता, असंख्यगुणनिर्जराः । यतितव्यमतोऽध्यात्म - वृद्धये कलयापि हि ॥ ११ ॥
भावार्थ : इस प्रकार ये क्रमशः ११ गुणश्रेणियाँ उत्तरोत्तर असंख्यगुण निर्जरा वाली कही गई हैं । अतः अध्यात्मवृद्धि के लिए इनका अभ्यासपूर्वक प्रयत्न करना चाहिए ॥११॥ ज्ञानं शुद्धं क्रिया शुद्धेत्यंशौ द्वाविह संगतौ । चक्रे महारथस्येव, पक्षाविव पतत्रिणः ॥ १२॥
भावार्थ : महारथ के दोनों चक्रों (पहियों) की तरह तथा पक्षी की दोनों पंखों की तरह शुद्ध ज्ञान और शुद्ध क्रिया, ये दोनों अंश अध्यात्म में एक दूसरे के साथ घुले-मिले हैंपरस्पर संलग्न हैं ॥१२॥
तत्पंचमगुणस्थानादारभ्यैवेतदिच्छति । निश्चयो व्यवहारस्तु पूर्वमप्युपचारतः ॥१३॥
भावार्थ : निश्चयनय की दृष्टि से अध्यात्म पंचमगुणस्थान से लेकर ही माना जाता है, किन्तु व्यवहारनय की दृष्टि से तो इससे पूर्व (गुणस्थान) में भी उपचार से अध्यात्म माना जाता है ॥१३॥
चतुर्थेऽपि गुणस्थाने, शुश्रूषाद्या क्रियोचिता । अप्राप्तस्वर्णभूषाणां, रजताभूषणं यथा ॥१४॥
भावार्थ : जिसे सोने के आभूषण नहीं मिलते, उसके लिए जिस प्रकार चाँदी के आभूषण भी आभूषण ही कहलाते
