________________ Notes: 65 Sometimes काल is divided into ब्यबहारकालandनिधयकाल. ( for further details on काल.and the Six Dravyas, vide the discussion on verses 13, 14 नवतत्त्वप्रकरण Mehesana Edition.) सत्त नया (Sk. सप्त नयाः ). नय may be roughly defined as a system of mental thinking for expressing in words our knowledge of a thing which we have obtained by the help of our senses or otherwise.' Such a system or p is mainly divided into two divisions viz. (i) द्रव्याथिक and (ii) पर्यायार्थिक, or sometimes into (i) sperate and (ii) regate or (i) व्यवहारनय and (ii) निश्चयनय. But generally in Jainism, this systein is divided into seven divisions known as the later or the Seven Nayas. They are (i) नैगम (ii) संग्रह, (iii) व्यवहार (iv) ऋजुसूत्र (V) शब्द (Vi) समभिरूढ and (vii) एवंभूत. St. 64. अठेव कम्माइं (Sk. अष्टव कर्माणि) The Eight Main Divisions of Karma (for details see notes on st. 66 ). नवतत्ताई ( Sk. नवतत्त्वानि) They are already explained in the notes on st. 24. दसविहो धम्मो (Sk. दशविधो धर्मः ) The Ten Duties or Qualities of a gfa or a. Sadhu ?. They are enumerated in the following verse:" खंती महव अज्जव मुत्ती तव संजमे अ बोद्धव्वे / सच्चं सोनं आकिंचणं च बंभं च जइधम्मो // " (नवतत्त्वप्रकरण St. 29)
