There are some "Smritikars' like, 'Ashwalayan', Vyas’and-Bodhayan' who give utmost im portance to 'Varnashram Dharma' and repentance.But on carefully considering the teachings of 'Smritis',the importance of agriculture is epident. “Yajnas' have been recommended only for those regions where agricuture is practised and the deer of black colour are found. 'Vishnu Smriti' prescribes worship of God and celebr. ation of God festivals.
