"It rais is taken to be a mark of punetuation, the preceding symbol may stand for 4 also. But the reading of the sign as 1 is no doubt preferable. It appears that the long rule of Pravara I explains the shortness of the reigns of the other members of the family from Jaya to Pravara II.
