TRANSLATION,
(Line 1.) Ori Hail! From Kalinganagara, (the city) of victory. which is pleasant (on account of the simultaneous presence) of the comforts of all seasons, the glorious Mahāra in Hastivarman, a fervent worshipper of Mahéévara, who meditates on the feet of (his) mother and father, 8 commands (as follows) the ryots, accompanied by all (others), at the village of Hondevaka in (the district of) Kroshtuka-vartani.
