TRANSLATION.
(Lines 1 to 8.) Hail! By the grace of the blessed lord (bhatárar)! Varaguṇa-Mahārāja, being encamped at Araisar on the bank of the (river) Pennai in Tonḍai-nadu, gave into the hands of the members of the assembly of Ilangokkuḍi two hundred and ninety káśu, from the interest of which- the capital remaining unspent-offerings had to be provided for four times

2 Virrirundu means literally being seated majestically.'
This is the literal translation. The money must have been sent by a messenger to be made over to the village assembly.
