The inscription ends with three of the usual imprecatory verses (25-27) and the name of the god Sri-Tryambaka (Śiva).

The two subjoined inscriptions were discovered by Mr. T. A. Gopinatha Rao, M.A., in the Nrisimha temple at the village of Narasingam, 6 miles east of Madura. The central shrine of this temple is cut into the hill known as Anaimalai. In an inscription dated in the
