Singapura inscription (1, p. 18 ff.). «lated 10th January 1381. recording the grant of a village by Harihara II of Vijayanagara to ten Brahmanas : upagráma Magehalli saha Singapurasya catus-simeralagu!!e* nidhi-nik -jala-taru priana-siddha-sådhyagalemba alabhóga-téjasskimyavannu suka suryanadaya davasádaya saha . . . . sarvamánya-graharawigi, i.e.. the village Singapura with its hamlet Magehalli as tax-free agrahára, together with suika, revenue paid in money and in kind (grain), and tabhoga-te jassvá mya consisting of nidhi. wideperjala. laru. pintina, siddha and sadhya within its four boundaries.

Within the four boundaries thereof, you will possess the eight bhogas comprising gadde, beddalu, 18ta, tudike, ane, acou-kattu. kadarambha and nêrárambha, and the eight téjassvámyas comprising nidhi, niksepa, jala, prípána, siddha, sddhya, aksini and agámi; you will cause to be paid to dull revenues of money and grain and also from hogekanike and other minor taxes and live in happiness.
