Translation. To-day, invoke all the gods. I call them all to mind : Shukra, Budh, Sanchar, Vrahaspati, Sarya and Chandra. I salute the monkeys : Gaurt, Ganesh, Sardá, and Gangaji. I call to mind Bharat, Râm, Lakshman, Ripusudan, Sita and Hanuman and the Yamuna. I lay my head at the feet of the five Påndwas and the sixth Nárkyan, the son of Rohini. Blessed is Bhimsen, and Baldeo I salute. Sør Das says that he has confidence in Bhagwan and so he sings the praises of Râm
Chandra. I invoke all the gods to-day.

1.-To Devt.
Text. Bharânt, tero Gangaji men ghalo, re, hindolo ! Kabe ke kbambhê marware? Kahe ki hai bagdor? Bhawani, tero, etc. Chandan ke khambhê marware : resham ki hai bagdor. Bhawâni, tero, etc. Ko ju jhulai ? Kaun jhulâ wai? Koja domacbi macbawal? Bhawani, tero, etc. Devi jhulain; langûr jhulawain. Hanumat dumacht machtwain. Bbawâni, tero, etc. Sumiri sumiri, Mata, tero yash gång. Nagart men rahaha dayala; Bhawan tero Gangaji men ghalo bai hindolo.
Translation. O Bhawani, thy cradle swings in the Ganges! Of what are made the sapports ? Of what is made the rope ? O Bhawani, thy cradle, etc. The supports are made of sandalwood, and the rope is made of silk. O Bhawâni, thy cradle, eto. Who swings on it? Who causes the cradle to swing? Who plays on the drum? O Bhawani, thy cradle, etc. The Devi swings in it; the apes make the cradle swing. Hanuman plays on the dram, O Bhawani, thy cradle, etc. O Måtå, calling thee to my mind I sing thy praises. I pray that you may be kind to the city, O Bhawani, thy cradle swings in the Ganges.

Text. Gagan urf rath ki raj; gagan uri Kali ke rath ki raj. Kábe ke pahiyå bani anr kâhe ke don bail? Rath ki raj gagan urt. Chandan ki pahiya bant aur surah gau ke bail. Rath ki raj gagan uri. Ko jâ rath met baitht hai? Ko haoke don hail?
