Notes The expression, used in v. 10, with regard to the lips, bórcos, means about, that they are ready for a kiss. This expression thrim thrim thrím thrim, is an exclamation indicating great joy and frolic.

Notes. With regard to verdes 1 and 11 it must be said that the words used in them are no more understood ; the translation, therefore, is only conjectural. For all the rest, the song looks like a collection of fragments from several forgotten songs. The village of Kyishur is also called Kyishur,
