si salu is a kind of muslin. The meaning is that the
widows bought clothes, as they needs must, but, being widowe, could not buy bracelets.

* Here there is a play on the word vidi. The couplet likens Mula to a cobra residing in the anthill of Sejakapar. The word vids means & snake-catcher, but also means 'enemy. It probably refers to the siege of Anandepurs hy the Jim, the chief of Halwad, and Salahat Khan, mentioned above.
