६१. जहा पोम्मं जले जायं, नोवलिप्पइ वारिणा ।
एवं अलित्तं कामेहिं, तं वयं बूम माहणं ।।१९।। जिस प्रकार जल में उत्पन्न हुआ कमल जल से लिप्त नहीं होता, इसी प्रकार काम-भोग के वातावरण में उत्पन्न हुआ
जो मनुष्य उससे लिप्त नहीं होता, उसे हम ब्राह्मण कहते हैं। ૬૧. જેવી રીતે જળમાં ઉત્પન્ન થયેલ કમળ જળથી લિપ્ત થતું
તથી, એ જ રીતે કામ-ભોગતા વાતાવરણમાં જન્મેલ મનુષ્ય
એનાથી લિપ્ત થતો નથી, એને અમે બ્રાહ્મણ કહીએ છીએ. 61. Just as a Lotus while getting its existence in
water, remains uninfluenced from its impact, similarly human being born in the atmosphere of worldly lust and pleasure is not involved in it, but remains unaffected. We call such person, a 'Brahmin'.
६२. तेल्लोक्काड-विडहणो, कामग्गी विसयरुक्ख-पज्जलिओ ।
जोव्वण-तणिल्लचारी, जं ण डहइ सो हवइ धण्णो ॥२०॥ विषयरूपी वृक्षों से प्रज्वलित कामाग्नि तीनों लोकरूपी अटवी को जला देती है । यौवनरूपी तृण पर संचरण करने में कुशल
कामाग्नि जिस महात्मा को नहीं जलाती, वह धन्य है । ૨. વિષયરૂપી વૃક્ષોથી સળગેલ કામાનિ ત્રણ લોકરૂપી જંગલતે
સળગાવી મૂકે છે. યૌવતરૂપી તણખલા પર ચાલવામાં કુશળ
કામાગ્નિ જે મહાત્માને સળગાવતી નથી, તેને ધન્ય છે. 62. Fire of sensual pleasure burns/flares up out of
trees like sensual objects, reduces the forests like triworld into ashes. A holy soul really deserves apprecication to whom the fire of lust fail to burn (him), which (fire of lust) otherwise is capable of walking over stray like
