श्री सूत्रकृताङ्ग सूत्रम् टीकार्थ - पहले जिनका वर्णन किया गया है वे अन्य मतवादी जीभ के स्वाद, सुख तथा अभिमान से युक्त होते हुए आर्तध्यान में संलग्न रहते हैं । दृष्टान्त द्वारा इसे समझाने हेतु सूत्रकार प्रतिपादित करते हैं। यहां 'यथा' शब्द उदाहरण को सूचित करने हेतु प्रयुक्त हुआ है । जलाशय में आश्रित आमिषजीवी ढंक आदि भिन्नभिन्न पक्षी सदैव मछलियां पकड़ने के ध्यान में संलग्न रहते हैं, जो आर्त रौद्र रूप लिये हुए होता है अत्यन्त कलुषित व अधम होता है ।
उदाहरण का सार बतलाते हुए कहते हैं कि जैसे ढंक आदि पक्षी मछलियों को पकड़ने की फिराक में ध्यान लगाये रहतेहैं वैसा ध्यान करते हुए वे कलुषित एवं अधम हैं उसी प्रकार कतिपय बौद्ध आदि मिथ्या दृष्टि श्रमण तथाकथित साधु अनार्य-अधम कर्म करने के कारण एवं आरम्भ व परिग्रह में ग्रस्त होने के कारण सदैव शब्दादि विषयों-भोगों की प्राप्ति का ध्यान करते हैं । वे कंक पक्षियों की ज्यों कलुषित एवं अधम हैं।
सुद्धं मग्गं विराहित्ता, इहमेगे उ दुम्मती । उम्मग्गगता दुक्खं, घायमेसंति तं तहा ॥२९॥ छाया - शुद्धं मार्ग विराध्य, इहैके तु दुर्मतयः । . उन्मार्गगताः दुःखं घातमेष्यन्ति, तत्तथा ॥
अनुवाद - इस संसार में शुद्ध-निर्दोष मोक्ष मार्ग की विराधना कर उन्मार्ग-दोषपूर्ण मार्ग में प्रवृत्त कतिपय दुर्मति-दुषित बुद्धियुक्त अथवा मिथ्यात्वग्रस्त अन्य मतवादी दुःख तथा विनाश को प्राप्त करते हैं ।
टीका - 'शुद्धम्' अवदातं निर्दोषं 'मार्ग' सम्यग्दर्शनादिकं मोक्षमार्ग कुमार्गप्ररुपणया 'विराध्य' दूषयित्वा 'इह' अस्मिन्संसारे मोक्षमार्गप्ररूपणप्रस्तावे वा 'एके' शाक्यादयः स्वदर्शनानुरागेण महामोहाकुलितान्तरात्मानो दष्टा पापोपादानतया मतिर्येषां ते दष्टमतयः सन्त उन्मार्गेणसंसारावतरणरूपेण गताः-प्रवत्ता उन्मार्गगता द:खयतीति दुःखम्-अष्ट प्रकारं कर्मासातोदयरूपं वा तदुःखं घातं चान्तशस्ते तथासन्मार्गविराधनया उन्मार्गगमनं च 'एषन्ते', अन्वेषयन्ति, दुःखमरणे शतशः प्रार्थयन्तीत्यर्थः ॥२९॥
टीकार्थ – दोष विवर्जित सम्यक्दर्शन आदि मोक्ष मार्ग है । शाक्य आदि कुमार्ग-कुत्सित या मिथ्या मार्ग का प्रतिपादन कर उसकी विराधना करते हैं । इस संसार में मोक्षमार्ग की प्ररुपणा करने के संदर्भ में उनका हृदय अपने दर्शन के प्रति अनुराग-आसक्त भाव के कारण अत्यधिक मोह से दूषित है तथा पाप के उपादानग्रहण या स्वीकार के कारण उनकी बुद्धि दुषित है । वे उस मार्ग पर चलते हैं जो संसार में उतारता है, ले जाता है, वे उन्मार्ग-विपरीतपथगामी है, जिससे वे अन्त में अष्टविध कर्म बांधते हैं । असातावेदनीय कर्म के उदय से दुःख पाते हैं । वे सन्मार्ग की विराधना करते हुए उन्मार्ग में चलते रहने की अभिप्सा लिये रहते हैं। वे सैंकड़ों बार दुःख एवं मरण की अभ्यर्थना करते हैं । अपने कर्मों के कारण इन्हें प्राप्त करते हैं ।
जहा आसाविणिं नावं, जाइअंधो दुरुहिया । इच्छई पारमागंतुं, अंतरा य विसीयति ॥३०॥ एवं तु समणा एगे, मिच्छदिट्ठी अणारिया । सोयं कसिणमावन्ना, आगंतारो महब्भयं ॥३१॥
