नरकविभक्ति अध्ययनं. • टीका - ‘से' तस्य नारकस्य तिसृष नरकपृथिवीषु परमाधार्मिका अपरनारकाश्च अधस्तनचतसृषु चापरनारका एव मूलत आरभ्यबाहून् ‘प्रकर्तयन्ति' छिन्दन्ति तथा 'मुखे' विकाशं कृत्वा 'स्थूलं' बृहत्तप्तायोगोलादिकं प्रक्षिपन्त आसमन्ताद्दहन्ति । तथा 'रहसि' एकाकिनं युक्तम्' उपपन्नं युक्तियुक्तं स्वकृतवेदनानुरूपं तत्कृतजन्मान्तरानुष्ठानं तं 'बालम्' अझं नारकं स्मारयन्ति, तद्यथा-तप्तत्रपुपानावसरे मद्यपस्त्वमासीस्तथा स्वमांसभक्षणावसरे पिशिताशीत्वमासीरित्येवं दुःखानुरूपमनुष्ठानं स्मारयन्तः कदर्थयन्ति, तथा-निष्कारणमेव 'आरूष्य' कोपं कृत्वा प्रतोदादिना पृष्ठदेशे तं नारकं परवशं विध्यन्तीति ॥३॥ तथा -
___टीकार्थ – तीन नरक भूमियों में परमाधामी देव नारकीय जीवों की भुजाओं को जड़ से काट डालते हैं, छिन्न भिन्न कर डालते हैं तथा वहाँ रहने वाले नारक जीव भी परस्पर एक दूसरे की भुजाओं को जड़ से काट देते हैं, छिन्न भिन्न कर देते हैं । नीचे की चार नरक भूमियों में रहने वाले नारक जीव ही परस्पर एक दूसरे की भुजाओं को जड़ से काटते रहते हैं, छिन्न भिन्न करते रहते हैं । परमाधामी देव नारकों के मुँह फाडकर उनमें तपे हुए गर्म लोहे के बड़े-बड़े गोले डालते हैं, जलाते हैं । उन नारकीय जीवों को एकांत में ले जाकर उन द्वारा किये गए पूर्वजन्म के कर्मों को उन अज्ञानियों को याद कराते हैं, जिनके फलस्वरूप वे उनके लिए वेदना उत्पन्न कर रहे हैं, यातनाएं दे रहे हैं । वे जब उन्हें गरम किया हुआ सीसा पिलाते हैं, तब कहते हैं कि याद करो, तुम बहुत मद्यपान करते थे । उन्हीं के शरीर का मांस उन्हें खिलाते समय कहते हैं कि याद करो, तुम बहुत मांस खाते थे । यों उनके दुःखों के अनुरूप उन नारक जीवों को पूर्वजन्म में उन द्वारा किये गए कर्मों को याद दिलाते हुए वे उन्हें कष्ट देते हैं निष्कारण ही क्रुद्ध होकर उन परवश नारक जीवों की पीठ पर कोड़े मारते हैं ।
अयंव तत्तं जलियंसजोई, तऊवमं भूमिमणुक्कमंता । . ते डज्झमाणा कलुणं थणंति, उसुचोइया त्तत्त जुगेसु जुत्ता ॥४॥ छाया - अयइव ज्वलितां सज्योतिस्तदुपमां भूमिमनुक्रामन्तः ।
ते दह्यमानाः करुणं स्तनन्ति इषुचोदितास्तप्तयुगेषु युक्ताः ॥ अनुवाद - तपे हुए लोहे के गोले के समान प्रज्वलित ज्योतियुक्त अग्नि से आप्लावित भूमि पर चलते हुए नारकीय जीव जलते जाते हैं, करुण क्रन्दन करते जाते हैं । चाबुक मारकर चलाये जाते हैं । तप्त जुए में जुड़े बैल की ज्यों वे नारकीय जीव चीखते, चिल्लाते हैं ।
टीका - तप्तायोगोलकसन्निभां ज्वलितज्योतिभूतांतदेवंरूपां तदुपमा वा भूमिम् ‘अनुक्रामन्तः' तां ज्वलितां भूमिं गच्छन्तस्ते दह्यमानाः 'करुण' दीविस्वरं 'स्तनंति' रारटन्ति तथा तप्तेषु युगेषु युक्ता गलिबलीवर्दा इव इषुणा प्रतोदादिरूपेण विध्यमानाः स्तनन्तीति ॥४॥ अन्यच्च -
टीकार्थ - परितप्त लोहे के गोले के सदृश जलती प्रज्वलित, अग्नि आप्लावित पृथ्वी के तुल्य नरक भूमि पर चलते हुए नारकीय प्राणी जलते जाते हैं । करुण, दीन स्वर से रूदन करते हैं । तप्त गर्म जुए में जोते हुए बैल की ज्यों चाबुक मार-मार कर चलने के लिए प्रेरित किये जाते हैं और रोते चीखते हैं।
