कुष्टं तगरञ्चागुरुं, सम्पिष्टं सममुशीरेण । तैलं मुखाभ्यङ्गाय, वेणु फलानि सन्निधानाय ॥

मूलेन सम्पिष्टं सुगन्धि भवति यतस्तत्तथाकुरु, तथा 'तैलं' लोध्रकुङ्कुमादिना संस्कृतं मुखमाश्रित्य 'भिलिंजए' त्ति अभ्यङ्गाय ढौकयस्व, एत दुक्तं भवति - मुखाभ्यङ्गार्थ तथाविधं संस्कृतं तैलमुपाहरेति, येन कान्त्यमुपेतं मे मुखं जायते, 'वेणुफलाई' ति वेणुकार्याणि करण्डकपेटुकादीनि सन्निधिः सन्निधानं वस्त्रादेर्व्यवस्थापनं तदर्थमानयेति ॥८॥ किञ्च

टीकार्थ कमल कुष्ठ को कुष्ठ कहा जाता है । अगर और तगर ये दो सुगन्धित पदार्थ हैं । कुष्ठ आदि ये सुगन्धित पदार्थ जब उसीर की जड़ के साथ पीसे जाते हैं तो और सुगन्धित हो जाते हैं । इसलिए तुम इनको खस की जड़ के साथ पीसो । लोध्र के पुष्प आदि द्वारा संस्कारित तेल मुँह पर लगाने हेतु लाकर दो। कहने का आशय यह है कि मुझे मुँह पर लगाने के लिए ऐसा तेल लाकर दो जिससे मेरा चेहरा चमकता रहे । कपड़े आदि रखने के लिए मुझे बाँस की पेटी, डलिया लाकर दो ।

नंदी चूण्णगाई पाहराहि, छत्तोंवाणहं च जाणाहि ।
सत्थं च सूवच्छेज्जाए, आणीलं च वत्थयं रयावेहि ॥९॥

शस्त्रञ्च सूपच्छेदाय आनीलञ्च वस्त्रं रञ्जय ॥
अनुवाद - मुझे अपने ओष्ठ रंगने हेतु नंदी चुर्णक आदि लालिमामय द्रव लाकर दो । छाता, जूते साग काटने हेतु छुरी लाकर दो । उपयोग हेतु नीले वस्त्र रंगाकर ला दो ।
टीका . 'नन्दी चुण्णगाईं 'त्ति द्रव्य संयोगनिष्पादितोष्ठम्रक्षणचूर्णोऽभिधीयते तमेवम्भूतं चूर्णं प्रकर्षेणयेनकेनचित्प्रकारेण 'आहार' आनयेति, तथाऽऽतपस्य वृषटर्वा संरक्षणाय छत्रं तथा उपनहौ च ममानुजानीहि न मे शरीरमेमिर्विना वर्वते ततो दवस्वेति, तथा 'शस्त्रं' दात्रादिकं 'सूपच्छेदाय' पत्रशाकच्छदनार्थं ढौकयस्व, तथा 'वस्त्रम्' अम्बरं परिधानार्थं गुलिकादिना रञ्जय यथा आमीलम् - ईषन्नीलं सामस्त्येन वा नीलं भवति, उपलक्षणार्थत्वाद्रक्तं वा यथा भवतीति ॥ ९ ॥ तथा

टीकार्थ होंठों को रंगने के लिए कई चीजों को मिलाकर बनाये गये चूर्ण को 'नंदी चूर्ण' कहते
