स्त्री परिज्ञाध्ययनं सन् 'बालः' अज्ञो रागद्वेषकलितो वा' प्रकत्थते ' आत्मानं श्लाघमानोऽकार्य मपलपति, वदति च यथाऽहमेवम्भूतमकार्यं कथं करिष्ये इत्येवं धाट्रयात्प्रकत्थते, तथा वेदः - पुंवेदोदयस्तस्य 'अनुवीचि' आनुकूल्यं मैथुनाभिलाषं तन्मा कार्षीरित्येवं 'भूयः' पुनः चोद्यमानोऽसौ 'ग्लायति' ग्लानिमुपयाति - अकर्णश्रुत विधत्ते, मर्मबिद्धो वा सखेदमिव भाषते, तथा चोक्तम्
टीकार्थ
"सम्भाव्यमानपापोऽहमपापेनापि किं मया ? । निर्विषस्यापि सर्पस्य, भृशमुद्धिजते जनः ॥ इति ॥१९॥ अपिचचरित्रहीन पुरुष मुख्यतः अपने द्वारा छिपाकर किया गया पाप आचार्य आदि के पूछने पर नहीं बताता । वह कहता है कि मैंने वैसा बुरा कृत्य नहीं किया है । वह प्रच्छन्न पापी - छिपकर पाप करने वाला मायावी - छली, स्वयं तो कहता ही नहीं, जब अन्य कोई कहने हेतु प्रेरित करता है तो वह अज्ञ, रागद्वेष युक्त 'व्यक्ति अपनी बढ़ाई करता हुआ कहता है कि मुझ पर बुरे कार्य का आरोप लगाया जाता है वह मिथ्या है । वह बड़ी धृष्टता ढीठपन के साथ कहता है कि मैं ऐसा असत् कार्य किस प्रकार कर सकता हूँ । यहाँ प्रयुक्त वेद शब्द पुरुष वेद के उदय का सूचक है। उसके अनुरूप मैथुन की इच्छा को अनुवीचि कहा जाता है । इसलिए गुरु आदि द्वारा यह कहे जाने पर कि तुम अब्रह्मचर्य सेवन की वाञ्छा मत करो, वह चरित्र हीन पुरुष ग्लानि युक्त हो जाता है, अथवा इस बात को अनसुनी कर देता है, अथवा उस बात का उसके मर्म स्थल पर बड़ा आघात सा होता है, वह बात उसके मन में चुभ जाती है । वह खिन्न हो उठता है और बोलता है कि जब मुझमें पाप की संभावना-आशंका की जाती है तब अपाप पाप रहित होने से मुझे क्या लाभ क्योंकि लोग निर्विष सांप से भी बहुत डरते हैं ।

ओसियावि इत्थिपोसेसु, पुरिसा इत्थिवेयखेदन्ना । पण्णासमन्निता वेगे, नारीणं वसं उवकसंति ॥२०॥

छाया उषिता अपि स्त्रीपोषेषु पुरुषाः स्त्रीवेदखेदज्ञाः ।
प्रज्ञासमन्विता एके नारीणां वशमुप कषन्ति ॥

अनुवाद जो पुरुष स्त्रियों के पालन पोषण का कार्य कर भुक्त भोगी है, सब देख परख चुके हैं, स्त्रियाँ बड़ी मायावनी होती है यह जान चुके हैं, जो प्रज्ञाशील हैं वे स्त्रियों के वशीभूत नहीं होते ।

टीका स्त्रियं पोषयन्तीति स्त्रीपोपका-अनुष्ठानविशेषास्तेषु 'उषिता अपि' व्यवस्थिता अपि 'पुरुषा' मनुष्या भुक्तभोगिनोऽपीत्यर्थः, तथा-'स्त्रीवेदखेदज्ञाः सीवेदो मायाप्रधान इत्येवं निपुणा अपि तथा प्रज्ञया औत्पत्तिक्यादिबुद्धया समन्विता - युक्ता अपि 'के' महामोहान्धचेतसो 'नारीणां ' स्त्रीणांसंसारावतरणवीथीनां ' वशं ' तदायत्तमानुप- सामीप्येन 'कषनित' ब्रजन्ति, यघत्ताः स्वप्नायमाना अपि कार्यमकार्यं वा ब्रुवते तत्तत्कुर्वने, न पुनरेतज्जानन्ति यथैता एवम्भूता भवन्तीति, तद्यथा

Men who have indulged in the nurturing of women, who have experienced it all, and who know that women are very deceitful, those who are wise, do not fall under the sway of women.

The phrase 'Ushita Api' means 'even though they have been established' in the practice of nurturing women. 'Purusha' refers to men who have experienced and enjoyed it all. Similarly, 'Streevedakhedagnaah' means 'those who know that the Veda of women is primarily based on deceit'. Even those who are skilled and wise, those who are endowed with knowledge of birth, etc., those who are 'Eke' - great fools blinded by delusion - fall under the sway of 'Narinam' - women, who are the paths to worldly existence. They are 'Kasanit' - drawn to them by their proximity and dependence. Even though they are aware of their nature, they still act according to their desires, whether right or wrong. They do not understand that these women are of such a nature. As it is said:
