छन्दोदर्शनम
He, indeed, established the powerful Agri (fire) here on this earth for the welfare of all. He is the giver of all kinds of wealth to all beings for their good. He is Indra of the mid-world, the overlord of all.
अन्वयभाष्यम् । यः असौ प्रसिद्धः ईश: इति इह अस्मिन् लोके शं कल्याणं सङ्गमध्यै सम्यक् प्राप्तु रयिमन्त ईश्वर्यवन्तं भगवद्विभूतिस्वरूपं अग्निं दिव्यं देवतात्मानं अग्निं स्वं ज्योतिर्विभूति पृथिव्यां प्रातिष्टिपत् आधिपत्येन प्रतिष्ठापयामास | यः विश्वस्य सर्वस्य जगतः भूतये सुखार्थं अभिवृद्धये च राय: ऐश्वर्यस्य दावान् दाता सन् सन्निहितः अस्ति। सः मध्यमलोकाधिपतिः इन्द्रः विश्वेषां अधिपतिर्भवतीति ॥ __अत्र “तुमर्थ से सेनसे०” इति (पा. सू. ३-४-९) गम्धातोः तुमुन् प्रत्ययार्थे अध्यैप्रत्ययान्तं पदं “गमध्यै" इति | "गन्तुम् ' इति तस्यार्थः । तथा “दाश्वान् साव्हान् मीढ्वाँश्च” इति (पा. सू. ६-१-१२ ) सूत्रात् “ दाश्वान्" इति निपातः ॥ दा धातोः इदं आर्ष रूपम् ॥
COMMENTARY--SUMMARY TRANSLATION He is well-known as 'Lord'. He established here on the earth, for its good, the wealthy Agni as its master. Fire is the Lord's light in another form. He distributed all the required things for the welfare of the whole universe. He is Indra of the mid-world, overlord of all.
षष्ठी ऋक् । य आदित्यं दिवं स्वमन्तरूवं प्राऽऽरोहयत् स्व ? ज्योतिरात्मानम् ॥ दृशे विश्वस्मै भुवनाय देव
मिन्द्रो विश्वेषां पतिः स मध्यमः ॥ ६ ॥ पदपाठ :- यः । आदित्यम् । दिवम् । स्वम् । अन्तरिति। ऊर्ध्वम् ।
प्र। आ । अरोहयत् । स्वरिति स्वः। ज्योतिः। आत्मानम् ॥ दृशे । विश्वस्मै । भुवनाय । देवम् । इन्द्रः । विश्वेषाम् । पतिः। सः। मध्यमः ।।
He established Aditya, the sungod, high in the sky for all the world to see. The Aditya is the essence of his light and his soul. He is a god for all here. He is indeed Indra, of the mid-world and overlord of all.
