छन्दोदर्शनम्
अन्वयभाष्यम् ।
हे भगवति ! त्वं सरस्वती स्वयं विश्वमाता सती मां इमं स्वं निजं सुतं भावय आत्मीयभावेन त्वत्सुतेषु योजय - अनुगृहाण वाचे, ब्रह्मणे तुभ्यं प्रत्यक्ष ब्रह्मरूपाये, तथा तव अधिपतये ब्रह्मणस्पतये च नमः परमपुरुषाय अस्तु, तथा मां अन्तः सन्दृशं सम्यदर्शिन सम्भाव्य च ब्रह्मणा मन्त्रेण प्रज्ञानेन च आत्मनि त्वयि तथा सर्वान्तर्यामिणि परमात्मनि निधेहि संस्थापय, ब्रह्मात्मनिष्ठं स्वयं अनुभावय आत्मसात्करणेनेति भाव: || यतः सा त्वं परा वागेव विश्वस्य अस्य समग्रस्यापि प्रपञ्चस्य जीवजातस्य च दर्शयत् अवभासकं ज्योतिः, तत्परञ्ज्योतिःस्वरूपा सा परा वाग् देवतात्मा माता विश्वमातृत्वसत्त्वसम्पन्ना प्रभवति इति ||

COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATION
Oh Venerable Sarasvati! you are the mother of the whole universe. Accept me as your own son and count me among your sons. Salutations to Brahma, to you who are the visible Brahma and to Brahmanaspati, the Lord Supreme. Make me a good seer and one with deep insight who can know the All-Pervader through a mantra. You are the light par excellence, the goddess of Speech Supreme which can illumine and express everything in the universe.
