The outgoing description of Ibn Battuta's journey is to be seen in the light of cultural route from Africa-west Asia to India. It is a partial study of Ibn Battuta's cultural route till Delhi. His further experiences and comparative description of Indian culture with other world cultures suggest how India was exposed socially and culturally to the other world. People coming from west Asia introduced their way of life at different socio-cultural segments. Rehla exposed the global readers to the India's rich heritage and culture.
