[ उत्कण्ठा ] - ( प्रबलविरहवेदना - रागे त्वलब्धविषये वेदना महती तु या । संशोषणी तु गात्राणां तामुत्कण्ठां विदुर्बुधाः ॥ ) - Lit. Stretching out the neck, longing for. - [सङ्केतक ] सङ्केतं समागमसमयस्थिरीकरणं करोतीति One who has fixed some time for meeting, a lover or paramour. -- [ संस्थापना ] - स्थैर्य संपादिनी – Composing or a means of calming or composing. Metre वसन्ततिलकम्. P. 80. L. 9. [ भावरेभिलेन ] The learned Rebhila. P. 80. L. 11. [ काकली] - ' काकली तु कले सूक्ष्मे -- इत्यमरः. A low and sweet tone. P. 80. L. 8–11 ( Verse 5 ). यत् गीतसमये विरतेपि गतेपि तत् सर्वं शृण्वनिव गच्छामि तत् सत्यमित्यन्वयः । किं तत् सर्वमित्याह - मृदुगिरः कोमलकण्ठस्य तस्य तं स्वराणां षड्जर्षभगान्धारादीनां संक्रमं आरोहावरोहरूपं क्रमं । तथा श्लिष्टं अभिन्न वीणास्वरं शृण्वन् । कथंभूतं तत्रीस्वनं, मूर्छनाया स्वरावरोहारोहस्य मध्यगतं तथा तारं उच्चं अथ च समाप्तौ कोमलम् । हेलया अवलीलया संयमितं संस्थापितं अनौचित्यान्निवारितं तथा ललितं रागेषु च द्विरुक्तं गीतं शृण्वन् गच्छामीति – [ मूर्च्छना. ] The rising of sounds, an intonation; a duly regulated rise and fall of sounds conducting the air and the harmony through the key or passing from the key to another. क्रमात्स्वराणां सप्तानां आरोहश्चावरोहणं । सा मूर्च्छत्युच्यते ग्रामस्था एताः सप्त सप्त च.
