"Our effort is to impart the knowledge necessary in bringing about purity in the act of Chaityavandana". Therefore the value of this explanation is very great for those who preform Chaityavandana regularly and the persons who don't perform such sublime act are inspired thereby.
Even today the act of Chaiyavandana in the Jain sway is performed by thousands and millions of people regularly, so this act is "alive". This act ought of be performed silently, religiously and whole-heartedly, there should not be any din and bustle in performing it.
The act of Chaityavandana being performed silently, religiously and wholeheartedly is only accepted by the scriptures. The act full of din and bustle is not considered to be valid. The learned don's have trust and faith such act, and that is verily natural.

Besides the fact, that the act, in which there are place (Sthana), Colour (Varna), Wealth (Artha) and Prop (Alambana), cause the benefits of sublime mind, is justified by him.
The main point of the volume "Lalitavistra" is that in the act of Chaityavandana the "Chaityas" which are saluted are the images of Sri Arithana gods, and the images are named as Chaityas because the salutation and the other acts directed to them result in mind with commanded meditation.
How is the capability of producing mind with commanded deep meditation acquired through the images of Sri Arithanta gods? The answer to that question is obtained by knowing the form of Bhara Arihanta.
