इतः चरणाचारं चरणगुणसमन्वितं वक्ष्ये ॥ २८७॥
अर्थ-ज्ञानगुणसहित यह ज्ञानाचार मैंने कहा । अब यहांसे आचरण गुणसहित चारित्राचारको कहता हूं ॥ २८७ ॥ पाणिवहमुसावादअदत्तमेहुणपरिग्गहा विरदी। एस चारित्ताचारो पंचविहो होदि णादवो ॥ २८८ ॥ प्राणिवधमृषावादादत्तमैथुनपरिग्रहाणां विरतयः । एष चारित्राचारः पंचविधो भवति ज्ञातव्यः ॥ २८८ ॥
अर्थ-प्राणियोंकी हिंसा, झूठबोलना, चोरी, मैथुनसेवन, परिग्रह-इनका त्यागकरना वह अहिंसा आदि पांचप्रकारका चारित्राचार जानना ॥ २८८ ॥ ___ अब अहिंसा आदिका खरूप कहते हैं;एइंदियादिपाणा पंचविधावजभीरुणा सम्म । ते खलु ण हिंसिव्वा मणवचिकायेण सव्वत्थ २८९
एकेंद्रियादिप्राणाः पंचविधावद्यभीरुणा सम्यक । ते खलु न हिंसितव्याः मनोवाकायैः सर्वत्र ॥ २८९ ॥
अर्थ-सब देश और सब कालमें मन वचन कायसे एकेंद्रियसे लेकर पंचेंद्रिय प्राणियोंके प्राण पांचप्रकारके पापोंसे डरनेवालेको नहीं घातने चाहिये अर्थात् जीवोंकी रक्षा करना अहिं. साव्रत है ॥ २८९॥ हस्सभयकोहलोहा मणिवचिकायेण सव्वकालम्मि । मोसं ण य भासिज्जो पच्चयघादी हवदि एसो॥२९॥ हास्यमयक्रोधलोभैः मनोवाकायैः सर्वकाले । मृषां न च भाषयेत् प्रत्ययघाती भवति एषः ॥ २९० ॥
